I purchased this radio for a Ford Econoline van. Fits great, and the large screen doesnt cover any of the trucks controls. It replaced Eonon Android 10.0 Car Stereo, CarPlay & Android Auto Car Stereo Receiver, Universal Double Din 3+32GB Car Radio, Bluetooth 5.0/4 Sets of UI, 10.1 Inch-Q03Pro. That radio died at about 2.5 years, just out of warranty. I really was going to get a different brand, but after reading customer reviews, come to find that most of the other radio brand complaints were from a lack of customer support. Lets get one thing straight about Eonon: THEY HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMER SUPORT I HAVE EVER HAD TO USE. They respond almost instantly, they work through the issues with detailed videos and instructions. I have never waited more than 24 hours for a reply, The old radio had multiple issues, connectivity, slow, changing settings on restart, hard to use volume and control buttons, etc. The new radio, has a large, easy to reach and use volume button. It connects MUCH faster to my phone than the old one. I stream music and navigate thru the phone, and the streaming player controls and navigation maps appear on the screen, both Google maps and Waze. The radio comes with a protective film for shipping, which I leave on as a screen protector. Comes with a backup cam(I didnt install, already have one) and a front facing camera, I havent installed, yet. Updates come thru wifi connection. With van parked in driveway, I have access to house wifi, simply turn off bluetooth on phone , hit the update ap on the screen, and it updates itself. The radio works well, and can save multiple stations , more than are available. Has a built in graphic equalizer that is very broad on its frequency coverage, allowing me to tune out a certain frequency that booms in the van. Amplification is strong enough for my listening. I originally mounting the microphone for phone use on the A pillar, however, in a van there is way too much wind noise there. I replaced the mike with another from Amazon (FingerLakes 3.5mm Microphone, $6, has a longer cord too) and mounted it below the rearview mirror. Works much better, but have to remember to turn down the blower speed an not use the defroster, when on the phone. I also purchased the extended warranty from Amazon, just in case.

Being able to bring Android auto to my 2014 Mazda CX-5 has been a huge quality of life improvement. The screen is huge and the UI feels responsive. Bluetooth pairs up very fast and is perfectly stable. I will say since this is an aftermarket product I am a lot more forgiving of jank and ridiculousness than I would be if this came with a new car. Getting the CAN bus buttons working is a pain and there are still buttons that don't work. Some of the apps that come with the stereo are lacking in user friendliness. Re-mapping the front panel buttons is unexpectedly challenging and unreliable. The volume buttons on my steering wheel do work, thankfully. I think the hang up button works. I get a persistent pairing request popup on my phone asking me to pair with "Mazda" (even though I am paired with "Eonon" already) which I guess is some phantom bluetooth remnant left from the old stereo. But still... driving this car really is much more enjoyable now. Do you really need every button to work? Should listening to FM radio be easy and reliable? Whatever. I have a big map to show me where I'm going now and it's easy to make phone calls and listen to music from my phone. I'm quite pleased, and I guess if I want to spend an afternoon reading guides and watching youtube videos I could even get the extra buttons and features working.

This is a great looking head unit. Sounds great with my external amp. Lots of controls with its built in DSP. However the main reason I purchased this model was for the volume knob. I read the reviews about it creeping up and down by itself. I was told those issues were fixed in an update. However the unit I received has an issue where the volume knob only works about 30% of the time. I don’t know if I want to risk exchanging it for a new one because it might be an issue with the model and not just my unit. It’s not easy to rip out and install. I may go with a difirent brand.

A great Android head unit with a few minor flaws and one major one. A little underpowered compared to the AutoPumpkin unit I replaced but sound quality and EQ functions are much better. Backup camera works great too and once I tied it back into the factory mic, phone calls sound great. The only flaw thus far has been it did an OTA update this morning. Once the update was done, and even though I told it to retain my information, everything reverted to Chinese. Using Google translate on my phone I was able to get it back into English however, that shouldn't have happened. Now, none of my apps work but I'm sure it's just a region change thing I have to find to fix that.

Very good value for the money for older double DIN cars. I have an old Celica convertible I drive in nice weather and it badly needed a stereo upgrade. This fits perfectly and the floating screen means I can find the right viewing angle when driving with the top down. I am using the optical output into an old Zapco DSP and feeding that signal to an old Soundstream amplifier. (detect a pattern here?). The sound is very very good. (Speakers are not stock) The features are sort of basic compared to other higher end Android head units but everything is here that 90% of the people need. Google maps with ability to use any other mapping program downloadable from Play store, Same goes for music. I downloaded Power Amp which is my favorite music player. It works perfectly and sounds great. I also like that this comes with Torque preloaded for OBD II connection to the car. Lastly, the manual controls at the bottom of the screen are really well done. Good tactile feel and easy to operate without taking your eyes off the road. RCA preamp out is only 1.8 volts so using the digital output is really the way to go for sound quality. I have not tried the internal amplifier outputs. My only critical comment is that the included instructions are lacking a lot of necessary detail unless you are good at solving puzzles. There is a page showing how to remove the screen but it does not make it clear you really must remove the screen to install the unit in most cars. There is a trick to removing the screen that is also not explained. The plastic hood that covers the connector has to be tilted away from the unit before pulling it up and off. Took me a while to figure that out.

Love this deck, works great and sounds better than the Kenwood I had in Before. Wireless Android Auto works flawlessly. The deck looks great, and fits perfectly between my vents and climate control.

Like with most android head units you’ll find little quirks that will annoy you but with this particular device it’s working perfectly fine thus far. I did change the launcher for the option of having more apps displayed on the Home Screen. The tilt feature of the screen is nice, and having large physical buttons helps tremendously when driving so I don’t have to squint at the small screen icons when trying to change tracks, play/pause, or bring up the navigation app. Wish the SIM card was compatible with more than just t-mobile, but with my phone automation it connects to my hotspot fairly quickly. I like the option of being able to connect CarPlay via usb for longer road trips. Haven’t bothered with the wireless option since that would interfere with having the phone as a hotspot. Screen clarity is good, but I wish there was an option for a floating screen brightness adjustment icon like on my Atoto 10x. Speaking of the screen, it is compatible with polarized sunglasses, unlike the Atoto. Sound quality is good with the coaxial digital output to my JL twk88. I haven’t tried the internal amplifier since I run active three way front stage. I wish they offered more than one size screen. It feels like a decent size, but a 13inch model would be better.
