  • Excellent quality at an incredible price

Enya Tenor Ukulele 26" all Solid Mahogany with Cherry Blossom Pattern Ukulele Starter Kit With Case, Tuner, Strap, Strings, Capo, Sand Shaker, Picks, Polish Cloth (EUT-MS) I've looked at this uke for years and held off buying it. A great sale finally pushed me to make the purchase. In photos and videos, I always thought this ukulele might look overdone and incoherently decorated. But in person, it's beautiful! Fit and finish is perfect. I've gone over it several times and there isn't a flaw anywhere. The edges where the top and back meet the sides are rounded so they don't dig into your arm. It's perfectly balanced from headstock to bottom so that it's easy to hold. The tuners are precise and work perfectly. No sharp fret ends, and I received this on a very cold, dry day when I thought I might need to humidify it before trying it out. Radiused fret board is such a nice feature that makes barre chords easier! Brilliantly set up with a nice, low action, which has been true of all 5 Enyas I own. It holds tuning very well. I tuned it twice after taking it out of the box and it's held. Some of that is the high quality tuning machines and some of that is the D'addario EJ87s, but still, unusual for strings to settle immediately. Has a lovely, sweet, balanced sound to it with harmonics and good sustain. Good clarity as well--you can hear each note in the chords. On the bright side for a tenor, but still balanced. Great intonation. It's not as loud as I had anticipated, but I don't mind that at all as I play at home. If you are performing or part of a jam group, you may want to try different strings to increase the volume or go for the version with a pickup. It's a great value for the instrument alone, but you also receive accessories. The gig bag is very nice quality and well-padded. The only other accessory that you really need is the tuner and it works well. I'll use the polishing cloth and capo too. You also receive a strap, a finger shaker, Enya flourocarbon strings (which is a bit odd since that's not what is ON this uke when you receive it), and plastic picks. I can use the Enya strings on a different uke. The bag that holds the accessories is also nice to have and I'll get some use out of that. I don't use picks at all with ukes but I definitely wouldn't use plastic ones on a solid wood instrument without a pickguard. Still, the accessories kit is probably worth more than forty dollars if you tried to purchase them separately. The gig bag alone is worth $30. Great instrument that seasoned uke players will enjoy and beginners will find easy to play, all at a fantastic price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I received this ukulele yesterday, and I’m already in love! The Mahogany wood grain looks absolutely stunning, and the inlay detail on the sound hole adds so much to it. Also, I love the gloss headstock with the cherry blossoms! As for the playability, it’s SO easy and fun to play. It has a huge, full, rich sound that will get warmer and warmer through time-although it is already warm out of the box. The tuners are smooth as butter, and it already stays in tune very well for being new. My only small issue is I find the neck a little too thick for my liking, but that’s mainly a personal quirk. I generally prefer a thinner neck. Apart from that, I find this ukulele absolutely perfect in every way and there’s nothing I would change. I also really enjoyed the accessories that came with it, especially the finger shaker. It’s fun to experiment with it! All in all, a very quality ukulele, as is Enya’s standard. It goes above and beyond for the price. Definitely would recommend it for any and all players of all levels and walks. ... show more

Size: 26 inch Color: Natural Tenor
This tenor enya ukulele sounds and looks beautiful, and has a deep, soothing sound. It is an ergonomic instrument that is a breeze to play. It comes with a case, capo, and other essentials. I can't think of one bad thing to say, and I love this ukulele so much!

  • good enya product
Size: 23 inch Color: Natural Concert
I've dabbled with various ukuleles with different materials and from different brands including quite a few from Enya. This particular ukulele was my one of my least favorite. It is not a bad instrument but I disliked it for a few reasons. Pros: Great look - I love the inlay in the headstock. The rest of the ukulele is plain and unassuming but still a good look. Great build quality and set up - Not remarkable issues with quality. The strings were set up with a nice height that makes it great to play out of the box. I've noticed this with many of Enya's products. It's a great touch that will help newer ukulele players start learning immediately without having to take an instrument to a shop to get it set up properly. Great case - The included case is sturdy enough for storage and car travel. Good padding and a step above the simple vinyl bags that other ukulele companies include. Cons: The sound quality was OK. The tone was sweet and clear but quite muted and constricted. The volume on the ukulele was very quiet. The instrument is supposedly built from solid wood. Normally, solid wood is a benefit but in my experience, solid wood instruments require more monitoring and maintenance to ensure they're not damaged by humidity or the lack of it. In the case of this particular instrument, I didn't feel like the work required in maintaining a solid wood instrument with this level of sound quality. I'd much rather have a laminate instrument that I wouldn't have to worry about. Overall, this is a great instrument to use for quiet practice at home. The design and presentation will inspire newer ukulele players. For more seasoned players, the sound may be disappointing and not worth the maintenance. ... show more

  • A good product at a good value. Blue solid mahogany acoustic concert
This is a bright sounding, well made instrument. It has a low action and is easy to play. It is good value for an all wood uke. I got mine on sale for ninety some dollars, but I think it is a good value at regular price. It is also very nice looking, The cons are it came with sharp fret ends. I was able to carefully file those down with a metal fingernail file. It keeps its tune, well, but the tuning pegs are pretty mushy. They have some play in them. It is just a slight annoyance compared to my other uke’s tuning pegs. When it comes to the balance of the instrument, it is a little head heavy. But overall I still really like it. ... show more
