I teach elementary music and need an instrument I can play on to accompany songs and also to teach students ukulele. I bought the blue concert EQ and love the playability, projection, and tone! I bought a second concert EQ in natural. One is for playing at home and the other is for playing at school. If I could get a class set of these, I would! I love them both so much!! They sound much better and are much better than Kala imo. The natural has a slightly warmer tone than the blue, but I've also been playing the blue one daily so it's a bit more settled. I chose EQ because I want to be able to plug in, plus it ended up being only $10 more with EQ after the coupon so why not?

I don't normally write reviews but I love my ukulele! I had a beginner one when starting off which was OK. And found this through looking at reviews on youtube. The ukulele has a beautiful, light, mellow sound which is just perfect! And I think it's good for both beginners and those who are more advanced. It has a simple, beautiful look and I really like the craftsmanship. It also comes with D'addario strings which I'm so happy with!!

I love this Ukulele! I got the blue in a tenor, and came back for a concert after, because I loved the sound. Both sizes ring so clear, even on higher voiced chords and notes. And what a gorgeous blue! I originally got the glossy blue version by Enya, but the color came out weird...pretty much green. This one has a true blue hue, and I'm in love with this instrument. Great for beginners and more advanced players. Also, I highly recommend upgrading to the acoustic electric...worth the extra 20 dollars, and the mechanism is inside the instrument, by the sound hole for easy access.
