The grip surface doesn't stick and breaks off. Had the scooter for 2 months, my 8 year old son rode it about 10 times.

Purchased for my daughter. She loves it. The quality is great and assembly is simple. The only drawback is that the handle bar mounts atop a plastic shim with no detent or guide to mount handle bar. This means you have to "eyeball" it to make sure the handle bar is aligned correctly with the front wheel. Also, not sure how much stress it can stand up-to before the handlebar and wheel misalign.
