Nice quality for the price. Two issues ( which may not bother other people ) 1) the soup spoons are Hugh - the size of serving spoons, and 2) since I will not hand wash silverware, the gold has begun to fade. However, even faded, the set is lovely. And the having them fade is really my fault since I do throw them into the dishwasher. If you hand wash them and don't care about oversized soup spoons, you should be happy with this set. ... show more

I was worried about the black chipping off the silverware after many washes. I use boiling hot water and hand wash items and so far zero chipping after many washes! I really enjoy the smaller fork and spoons, and the holes at the end aren't hard to clean at all with a sponge.
