Sorry for the corny title but it really suits this little beast lol. Everyone knows JBL’s balanced sound. Well, this thing fits the JBL line-up like a glove. I’m a big hi-fi guy and using the EQ to perfect the way I like to hear music. What I love the most about this speaker is how clear all sound levels are regardless of how you adjust the EQ or volume. You still hear all the notes of a song even if certain parts are slightly muted if that makes sense. This isn’t the case with many so called premium speakers out there. For many of these, adjusting the EQ actually exposes the speaker’s weaknesses. Not the Charge 6. It’s not a bass monster by any means like the Boombox 3 but it isn’t made for that. best wireless speaker iv’e ever had so far. sound is amazing , battery life is unbelievable , I haven’t had to charge the unit yet , since iv’e had it , but’ve only used it moderately. effortless connectivity and its a handsome looking creature ( I got the white) , however , should’ve bought mine during the spring sale , could’ve saved $50 , oh well , can’t win ‘em all , but feel that i got my money’s worth , didn’t purchase the protection insurance plan , hope i don’t ever regret it , overall , jbl is quality , & i recommend this item , charge 6 ... show more

I've tried and tested many speakers over the years, this JBL Charge 6 by far exceeds every speaker out there in its class, I will tell you why. I usually don't do in depth sound testing right out of the box, the reason being is all speakers have or need a break in period. The break in period typically ranges between 20 to 30 hours at moderate volume and continue to break in and improve up to 100 hours. With that said, I tested this speaker right out of the box and for lack of a better word, I said, WoW! The first thing I noticed was the bass; I could not believe my ears when I heard thumping tight rich bass! I played with my EQ settings pushing the limits of the bass frequency and it handled whatever I fed it. To give you an example of the clean power I'm talking about, you know when you drive by some insane sounding car audio systems that sound so good you put your windows down to listen, where you know they had to spend thousands of dollars to get the earth shaking sound out of a car audio system, this is what this JBL Charge 6 compared to. All this and I barely have it broken in with 19 hours of music played so far. Can you tell I'm excited about this? JBL has always been a leader in portable audio and here is proof that years of perfecting a product pays off in music to my ears. Now that was just the bass, the mids and highs are crisp and clean, you would think the vocals would get lost in all that bass, admittedly I am good with an EQ however I feel with this speaker you can listen to music the way "you" want to and not the way the speaker limits you. I'm looking forward to surpassing 100 hours of playing my favorite tunes on this JBL if it's this great now, rock on! ... show more

The JBL Charge 6 is an incredible speaker that surpasses all others I’ve owned. I mean, I never thought I’d need a fancy speaker until a co-worker showed me the JBL Charge 5 during a work trip to the Philippines. We used it all day, even after work, and it was amazing. I recently saw the JBL Charge 6 being released and I just had to try it. Setting it up was super easy - I used the Apple JBL App and it was a breeze. The JBL App is a bit basic, but you can make adjustments to your speaker easily. As soon as I started playing music through it, I was blown away! I enjoy listening music and love a wide variety of genres, from pop to country to R&B. The sound quality of the JBL Charge 6 is amazing, and I can still hear the music even with some background noise at work. It’s like having my own personal music system! The sound is great, the bass is good, and the volume is top-notch without any loss of quality. This speaker is compact and sleek, and the handle is a nice touch. Since I work around heavy machinery, I needed something that could handle drops and water, and this one definitely checks all the boxes. The battery life is really impressive, and it’s not heavy at all. I’m a bit surprised that the JBL Charge 6 doesn’t come with a battery charger cable, considering the price but it’s not a deal breaker. ... show more
