My Steelcase Gesture chair had the original casters designed for carpets and rugs, which are too fast on hard surfaces. These are almost identical in dimensions, materials, and appearance. Installation was very easy; pop off the old and insert the new. That took maybe 2 minutes without any tools. They inserted securely and they roll around much slower. I don't feel any rockiness due to dimension variation in wheel diamater and the bearings are silent. They feel just as heavy as the originals and the materials feel strong and durable. I use these on hardwood floors and the polyurethane wheels feel soft and protective against scratching.

I’m very happy with these wheels so far. They roll incredibly smoothly and are much quieter than the ones they replaced, which made a noticeable difference right away. Installation was easy, and the chair feels like it glides effortlessly across the floor. What I like most is how solid and well-made they feel. Sometimes products look great in the photos but disappoint in person—these did not. The quality seems excellent, and they perform exactly as advertised. My only hope is that they continue to roll this smoothly and quietly over the long term. If they do, they’ll easily be one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my Aeron. Based on my experience so far, I would definitely recommend them.

Nice replacement for my 2007 Steelcase Think Chair. These wheels fit perfectly and my chair now rolls like new on carpet. I've only had them on a couple days since writing this review, so not sure about long-term reliability. But so far so good.

I bought these after a lot of shopping and cross referencing with the official HM replacement parts website. The size is almost exact to the originals, and the design is a very close match in function and appearance. Installation was very easy, they seemed a bit loose but have stayed in the sockets even when turning the chair over for cleaning and other repairs. On a hard floor mat over plush carpet they are very smooth and don't bind when changing directions quickly. Overall, they are performing well and are a good value as replacements for factory casters. I'm pleased so far, and optimistic they'll last a good while.

So these are basically just like the original Aeron wheels for my chair. They pop right in. Similar height. Your chair may vary. Mine is a classic Aeron chair - about 15+ years old now. These are the standard software wheels for wooden floors - so it doesn't scratch, and doesn't roll SO easily that you roll away! Skate wheels WILL MAKE YOU roll in directions you do not want to go. Trust me! They were inexpensive - I think the original Aeron versions are the same price for ONE as the entire set here! Pretty sure they'll last... the others might have lasted, too... just accumulated a lot of dust that got compressed...etc. etc. A great buy!
