So happy with my new lower profile bed, replacing a large chunky wood 4 poster. The height is just right with a 12” foam mattress. We did put a thinner piece of foam between the frame and mattress to keep it from slipping and it works great. No squeaking noted and it is very sturdy. Item was packed well for shipping and most pieces were covered in plastic wrap to protect the finish. I assembled by myself and took my time. 1:45 minutes for assembly. I managed to install two pieces upside down for parts 12 and 13 so make sure you are not blocking one of the screw holes during this steps. I would consider it an easy assembly. Bed is sturdy and well designed. I am using it with no box spring. In my opinion, it does make the bed a little low but I think it is designed to be used with no box spring. The frame probably look better with no box spring as well. SO far so good. The only little nit pick is the center support on the long side of the bed. It looks cheap and you can easily stub your toe. I wish the support was more toward the middle of the bed,Most likely I will get pipe insulation and paint it black or buy a wrap from on Amazon. The LED lights are a generic addon and not custom fitted for the frame. I did not install and will most likely throw it away. Very happy with the purchase.

I thought I needed a new mattress but I think it was the frame. I’ve slept better on the new frame with the old mattress than I have in years. Super sturdy, love the under bed storage, does not make noise. The only negative is that one knob stripped. I it the bed together by myself without any trouble. It took me about an hour and a half or so but I took my time. Once you get the head and footboard together the rest is fairly intuitive. Not only is the height allow under bed storage but it is space saving for a smaller room.

Easy to put together and looks great. Seems pretty solid and doesn’t make any sounds when moving around the bed. Removed one star because the light strip doesn’t stay up and two of the screw holes weren’t drilled large enough for the screws to fit into. The light strip keeps peeling off of the back of the headboard. Parts of the backing were stuck to the plastic in the box and not the headboard when we unwrapped everything. Not a dealbreaker for me as I may never use it but still part of the whole package that you expect to be functional.
