Front disk warped. Battery jumps from charged to empty in minutes. They want me to pay to have it shipped back. I have no idea how to even repackage this bike. Send me a new bike and I will package it in the box the new bike comes in and you pay for return shipping. I paid a lot of money for a product that is not working properly. Stand behind your product. Sometimes you have to lose a little money when a product does not perform properly.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased my X20 through Engwe-bikes.com. Shipping was normal actually came a day early. When I first received my e-bike, I had a couple of issues. First there is a knocking noise coming from somewhere, I believe I narrowed it down to the front fork suspension. I emailed the company and they shipped out a replacement fork. Hopefully once installed that constant knocking will be eliminated. Meanwhile, waiting for the fork, out on a ride, the chain slipped and it got wedge between the crank guard and it broke the outer ring. I emailed Engwe and they're having the warehouse make me a new one that simply gets screwed on. GREAT customer service! Being overseas, they usually respond the following day. As far as performance, the specs are pretty accurate. I weigh 209lbs and completed a 18 mile trip on level 4 and 5 with ease and had like 70% battery life left. Charging is fast and during rides, the extra battery in the seat post continuously charges the main battery although you can opt to run them separately, I found if I ran them both at the same time I got better power throughout the ride. Mileage will depend on several factors; rider weight, hills or flat terrain, riding into the wind, and if you use the throttle a lot as well as sport mode (it has 3 modes Norm, Eco and Sport)which is fun. Sport mode lasts only 3 minutes then resets after 10 minutes have passed. I maxed my speed at 28 mph out of 31 which isn't bad. Only downside is using it as a regular bicycle is an absolute chore and wouldn't recommend it lol. My advice is ride the bike a lot to break it in because if you let it sit, the warranty will run out on you, so it's best to ride the heck out of it the first few weeks to catch anything that they could replace for free. Also the levels of speed are customizable which is a nice feature, it allows you to set the speed for each level. Keep the Allen keys with you or make sure the bolts are secure on the kickstand and especially the handlebar collar where it folds down. That screw will loosen and the bike will be totally useless because you wouldn't be able to steer! All in all the bike is well made and sturdy, even my wife bought one. If given the opportunity I'd buy the motorcycle style models they're stronger and faster 😉

I have the Engwe X20 and, at first, I didn't really like how it performed in the various assist modes (PAS). But then I discovered that it allows you to fully ustomize the power/speed settings for each PAS mode. And THAT made all the difference on this E-Bike. I also really appreciate the adjustable 3-point suspension system. I don't take it off-road all that often, but when I do, I can soften the suspension and it makes for a much less jarring experience. The stitched leather wraps on the seat and handlebar grips are also a nice touch. The lock on the seat height adjustment is a bit 'fiddly', but it's a non-issue since I don't need to change seat height all that often. Oh, and super nice when it's just me going out to not have get the bike rack all setup on the SUV. With the folding frame, this fits in my hatchback (though it's still a heavy beast as all e-bikes are haha)
