This chain is thicker than I normally buy. The clasp is sturdy and it looks like it will hold together well. I like the Maribella chains the best. I clean it once a month and it still shines like new. It been 2 years and I have no complaints.

UPDATED: The more I compare this to other equivalent options, this looks much better and actually is stainless steel...get over the 925 sterling claim and get this one UPDATED: I decided to give it one more star (now 3). It actually looks pretty good and tested out to be at least stainless steel (density around 8.1), unlike several others that claimed to be stainless and didn’t even have a density of 7. Chain looks nice, decent weight and color, not attracted by magnet, but not 18k, nor 925 Sterling from what I measured. Density calculated to be roughly 8.1g/ml, in the range of stainless steel (925 should be above 10). Acid test indicated 10-14k, probably 14k plated. For $50, you should not expect 925/18k, but they also should not claim it. BTW, the bag says "Made in China", and the necklace is stamped "Italy" (and 925). I'm going to keep it, but buyer beware. ... show more

Great looking chain. But the big problem is that, contrary to what was stated, the chain is extremely difficult to clasp. The connection is much too small.
