We DO love these curtains! They are long and beautiful. I almost did 4 stars then realized that wouldn’t be fair because I didn’t read the details. I feel like the hot sun will eventually fade them as I thought they would be more of a blackout curtain. But that’s my bad! They are wonderful and I bough 2 pair! These showed up exactly as I expected them to be. They are a nice, deep shade of black and the velvet is so soft. These almost completely black our room out and eliminated our issue with glare on the TV. They definitely feed into the gothic look of our bedroom. Absolutely thrilled with these. They’re also extremely heavy and thick so they’ve proven to be pretty durable. Because of how heavy they are, it’s a bit difficult to maneuver onto the curtain rod but the holes are bug enough to make up for it. ... show more

I have not had to wash them for any reason yet but they have held up and still look like new after a few months in a high traffic childs room.
