Stay cool and comfortable!
This was a big purchase for me. I have never owned a stand up air conditioner, and I didn't know what to expect. I was nervous when I clicked the confirm order button. Let me assure you who are reading this that this was probably my highest rated purchases on amazon. I live in an apartment complex, a townhome, and we are not allowed window units; however, the AC does not reach the entire upstairs very well, and the maintenance team likes to do as little as possible about it. So, we had to invest in one of these, and I can honestly say, I am so thankful I don’t have anymore sweaty nights! The temp goes down to 64 degrees which is super, super comfortable. I do not sleep with it that low, but I love a cold, cold room, so I sleep with it at 68. If my door is open, it will cool most of the upstairs (three bedrooms). If you’re worried about the apartment complex not allowing window units, but you really want to be cool, get this. The part the has to go in the window is not big at all, and it actually, from a glance, just looks like you have a window fan, and it sounds like it too. Shipping -- Timely, and damage free. Instructions -- Clear and easy Setup -- Window installation may take some patience, but with minimal effort, it can be done in no time. (Remote even came with batteries included!) Cleaning -- I have not had to vacuum the filter for now, but I could do so easily. Sound Level -- If you keep it next to your bed, the sound could prove to be a hindrance, after hours. However, I keep mine at the window opposite my bed, and it still keeps the whole room cool, while I sleep in peace with barely a hum to be heard. Speaking of which... Sleep Mode -- The portable air conditioner becomes quieter in this mode, I didn't measure the sound level exactly, but it works great for sleeping! Separate Modes -- Fan Mode: This mode turns the appliance into a normal household fan, with low / high settings. Good for when you want to keep a cool room cool longer, and the output is impressive. Dehumidifier mode: I think this feature is great, but I haven't used it much. Dry climate and all. Remote -- can work in direct line-of-sight all the way across my room. Timer -- This feature is hands-down my favorite part of the whole deal. You can set a timer to turn off the AC (in 1-24 hour intervals). This is perfect for sleep mode on average-temperature days, or when you leave in the middle of the day, and want it to turn off when the sun goes down. All in all, I have a total of ZERO complaints about this appliance. If you are shopping for a 8000 BTU portable air conditioners, I whole-heartedly recommend this product for a worry-free buy. EnerGlow, you rock, and thanks!

Full of water none functioning air conditioner
Set name: 12,000 BTU
This air conditioner works but even on cool it fills with water and stops functioning. I even put a hose on the back of it. It still fills and shuts off. I spend more time emptying the water out of the air conditioner so it doesn’t cool the room. I’d return it but that is a hassle.

It works actually
Set name: 12,000 BTU
Honestly I was worried most of the reviews were bot reviews but I bought this anyways. I live in the Central Valley of California which if yk can get up to 110 during the summer, we had a 105 heat this past weekend and this little guy was putting in work! I live in an older home so the ac is hardly working. It wasn’t too loud to be honest quiet when I’m not focused on it and fit in my bedroom quiet well. The remote came in handy as I was working a my desk across the room from it brought my bedroom tempt down to a comfortable 80 while the outside was 105. Just follow the instructions and it’ll work well like it does for me

Manual Draining Is Needed
Set name: 14,000 BTU
Overall, we're pleased with its cooling ability. It's being used to cool the 1st floor of our townhouse. With ceiling & floor fans to move the air around, it does the job. Two issues: Several function buttons on the unit itself do not work. Powering on and off & the vent movement function can only be done with the remote. The other issue is with the drain hole at the very bottom, the unit has to be elevated in order to drain properly. The claim that the moisture evaporates thru the vent may be true for some, but the unit shut down twice in 24hrs with a full tank. Proper drainage can only be done with the unit raised enough to drain into a bucket, or similar. Drilling a hole through the wall, insulation, and brick facade in order to drain outside is not an option.

Great air conditioner
Set name: 14,000 BTU
I needed a new air conditioner because my old one wasn't keeping my living room cool anymore. I did research on reviews for a few air conditioners, this one included and decided on this one. I cant say enough good things about this air conditioner, it cools my whole downstairs so my living room, kitchen, and dining room. I have to keep it at 72 degrees because if it goes lower it gets to cold in my house. It is also much quieter than my previous air conditioner, you can hear it running but it isn't overly loud, you can easily watch a movie with it on and not be bothered by it. I am not sure how it will hold up for longevity as it has only been a few weeks with it but I am very happy with it.

Pulls a lot of humidity out of the air.
Set name: 14,000 BTU
Great A/C unit. It arrived early albeit in a battered box. Thankfully it was well packaged and undamaged. I would definitely recommend this for anyone needing extra cooling, just be aware if you’re in a humid area like I am it’s going to need a drain hose connected. It pulls a lot of water out of the air.
