I will die on the hill that rechargeable batteries are an excellent investment when you need standard batteries. I find that they don’t always last as long off of a single charge as disposable batteries do for their whole lifetime, but that is made up for easily by the fact that you can just recharge them over and over instead of throwing them away every time. They tend to power devices fairly well, and being of the standard size and shape of disposable batteries makes them fairly versatile as opposed to dedicated battery packs for things like those pesky Xbox controllers that are somehow opposed to the idea of a built in battery. ... show more

These batteries are extremely useful and convenient. I play a lot of VR games and was getting tired of having to change out the batteries once a week. Over time, that can become a weekly expense of getting new batteries. So when I found these rechargeable batteries, I knew I needed them. Energizer is a trustworthy brand and knew I can trust their quality. These double AA batteries are of excellent quality and can hold a charge for about 3 days of constant use. It comes with a wall charger that can charge all four batteries at once in a matter of hours. The wall charger does have a hard time staying in the wall socket since it is only one prong and with all the batteries in it, it can get heavy. I had to put the charger on a power strip so i can lay down instead of hang out the wall. Another critique to note is that once you charge the batteries enough times, it starts dying much quicker. Now it has been a couple of years since I purchased these and I am only now noticing a difference in battery life. This was to be expected but I appreciate how long they have lasted so far. What I like about this rechargeable batteries is save money by being able to recharge the batterys and not having to spend money on regular type batterys.
