  • New battery low, did not even last a year
My door/window sensors take this battery type, one of them has been dead for some time and I finally put this battery in. Sensor reported the new battery at 76%. Pretty poor if you ask me. I expected it to be at just in the 90s. We will see how long they last because the original lasted me over 3 years. Edit 8 months later: Changing this to a 1 star. The same sensor now reports low battery and 0% charge left. I should have paid more attention to original battery and what brand it was so I could purchase same ones since those lasted 36+ months and this one barely made to 8. The reason I know original batteries lasted that long is because I had a 3 year contract with my security company and they told me if any of the sensors/batteries die while I'm under contract, they will come out and replace them for free. Not a single sensor battery died (I had about 10 of them). ... show more

  • Dead On Arrival!!!! All 8!
Pretty disgusted! Not one worked. As absolute waste of my money!! I bought these to use when I used my last one. Needed them last night and none of them worked. I thought with the high rating they would be safe to buy. 50% don't even register on my battery meter the other half show 20%, basically dead on arrival. ... show more

  • Batteries arrived discharged, useless.
Batteries came in plain white letter-sized envelope. Batteries were all discharged (when placed in my devices, wouldn't register any charge, I removed a battery from another device and placed it into the device in question to verify that it wasn't a device issue--it wasn't). Returned these for a refund from Amazon, which was promptly provided (thanks Amazon!). ... show more

  • Two of four were dead on arrival. One was dim. one seemed to work.
The batteries arrived quickly and were packaged appropriately. Put all four batteries immediately into four identical devices. Two were dead, one was dim and one worked. I switched around the batteries to see if it was a device flaw. No. The same thing happened based on battery placement, so the batteries were the problem. ... show more

I bought these 2 months ago --- wish I would've checked them right away! I bought these in advance for my thermometer so I'd have them when needed. Well, that day has come ... and none of them work! All dead and I'm to far from my return window.

  • Batteries were dead
The batteries out of the package are measuring 2.69-2.73V instead of 3V. Basically got dead batteries.

  • Suspicious Battery Packaging
Purchased 4 of these to replace the timer battery backup in each of my 4 clock radios. The batteries arrived in individual original packaging dated 03/2030. That made me feel good. Then I noticed all of the packages had been carefully sliced open at the very back top. Why? Who knows? The battery inside each package looks official with the slanted Energizer engraving. They are also engraved with CR2450, 3 VOLTS, MADE IN INDONESIA. The four packages were attached to a piece of white paper with glue...possibly to disguise the fact that they had been opened. Only time will tell how long these batteries will last. Seems a bit suspicious. I thought Energizer batteries were made in Canada and South America according to the packaging! Giving it 3 stars for now, and will update to 5 stars in 5 years from now, if the battery last as long as the OEM battery. ... show more

  • Great value and works
Skeptical when I saw some of the reviews. Packaging was strange, it was in a letter envelope, but all was there . The two batteries I opened both read 3.2Vdc. Keep in mind that if they read 3.0V, they are actually near dead for these lithium batteries for the myQ garage door opener sensor. Though that really a reliable way to test them without a load on open voltage, it is a reference specific to the product I am powering. I’m using these on the myQ garage door sensor and confirmed proper operation after changing the battery. ... show more
