Description

Energizer Vision HD + LED Headlamp offers a hands-free, bright LED light with a long runtime for extended use. This headlamp flashlight is ideal for indoor or outdoor activities that require two hands. With 26 lumens on high, this light is 4x brighter than the standard LED technology with a beam distance of up to 8 meters. Advanced dimming controls let you adjust the intensity of this headlamp LED light from 1% to 1%. Three modes - high, spot and wide - are available with a red LED for night vision. Next Push Off minimizes switch cycles. This light needs 6 AAA batteries (included) to use.

These headlamps are great value. They work well, they are sufficient as far as the brightness and the adjustment that will allow you to have the necessary light that you need, due to the fact that they have several settings. The headlamps come with a sufficient adjustable strap, and you have the ability to angle the light so that you can set it to the angle of your eyesight, so that the light is aimed at what you're looking at. These are great for a mechanic or any hobbies that needs to direct light on what they are working on, as well as any emergency situation. If you need to have your hands-free and be able to see a particular spot, these are for you. ... show more

Easy to use, switch works good and isn't fussy (mine are consistent and predictable, unlike older reviews I've seen, Energizer must have fixed whatever the problem was), easy to put in new batteries (no tools required), angle/tilt adjustment works good and is a very useful feature. There are 3 different brightness settings of the white light, and also one red-light setting. Fairly decent battery life, better than I expected - I haven't timed it precisely so can't tell you exactly, but on low white-light setting I've already got over 12 hours with no dimming, running about 2 hours at a time and then letting them rest for a few days (I'm using them as running lights strapped onto a scooter lol because I haven't yet bought proper bike/scooter lights, also I have more of these around the house in case of power outages). I specifically chose these because they're *not* rechargeable - they take regular batteries which is what you want for extended power outages because you don't have to wait to recharge (or with non-existent electricity), instead you just take a minute to put in new batteries (you do keep spare batteries around, right?) and carry on. Also I've had them out in heavy rain a few times and they still work with no problems, although I don't know if that water-resistance would maintain over the long term, but so far so good. ... show more

I actually have picked up yet another set of the 2 packs of these headlamps since my first purchase, they seem to be solid quality and all of them function as expected. And they also came with batteries! I think the smartest and best part of these specific lights is that the red light is the first setting in the sequence of the optional light modes and therefore does not blow out your night vision as the white LEDs will do once turned on, then off.. as your vision will take much longer to adjust to the dark then if just the red light setting is used. & While this seems obvious, I have owned other headlamps that cycle in the reverse order which is quite annoying. So you can't really go wrong with this product for most uses however just keep in mind they are water resistant, not waterproof. My previous similar model was used for a kayak/camping trip near water and enough moisture had remained in the battery compartment that it caused the batteries to corrode over time as it sat in storage and damaged the lamp. If using for this purpose again I would make sure to remove the batteries from the compartment and leave open to air dry for a day or so before putting the batteries back in and putting the head lamp away. ... show more
