  • Fantastic for solid voltage, please understand what "10 year SHELF LIFE" means.
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
So I see several reviews complaining about these not lasting 10 years, these have a 10 year SHELF LIFE not a 10 year USE LIFE- those are 2 entirely different things. 10 year shelf life refers to how long these will be viable for sitting on a shelf/stored not plugged into anything. As far as actually putting these into something you can expect use-life to be about the same as a typical 9V or a little longer. I bought these to power the Fishman Fluence active pickups in my guitar because these types of batteries provide very consistent power - which is where these excel compared to your average alkaline 9V which can waver a little in power getting worse over time. The only issue with these is they will suddenly die out on you once they are done but they will give you the same consistent power until its last breathe. Who these are for: -People who have devices/uses that require very consistent power. -People using devices that are subjected to more extreme temperatures. -Expensive devices that could be destroyed by a small battery leak. -People who like to store up on back-up batteries for a long time for later use. Who these are NOT for: -People who think 10 year shelf-life is the same as 10 year use-life. -People looking for rechargeable batteries (these are NOT the same as rechargable lithium batteries) *NOTE: These are very close to the size of your average alkaline battery but ever so slightly bigger since the edges are not rounded so if you want to put these into something where the battery space is a very tight fit it might not fit. ... show more

  • Worth it for smoke detectors -- if it fits
Size: 2 Count (Pack of 1)
These are outrageously expensive compared to an ordinary 9V battery. However, I gladly pay for these to use in my smoke detectors. Even living in a small condo, I have a total of eight detectors between CO and smoke detectors. All are hard-wired but with a battery backup. Every couple of months, one would get a low battery, and start chirping in the middle of the night. It's always the middle of the night. I finally got irritated and bought a bunch of these. They claim a 10-year lifespan; I presume that is shelf life. With a small bit of electricity used as a backup power source in these detectors, I'm getting about a 4-5 year run before they start to chirp. (My advice: when one starts to chirp, rather than trying to track down which it is, replace all of them together. They're going to start to fail at roughly the same time so you're in for a month or two of random sleepless nights. It's a weird luxury of sorts to only have to deal with this problem twice a decade, and is absolutely worth the money.) There is one catch -- regular 9V batteries have slightly rounded corners, but these do not. This makes them a very tight fit into some of my smoke detectors. You might want to buy something like this 2-pack and test-fit them everywhere before buying a bulk lot of them. ... show more

  • Provides a sense of security
Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
My house is wired for safety and security. My system requires lithium batteries. These batteries meet the need, scratch the security itch. Last a bit, easy to install, just wish they were so expensive. Am happy with these batteries.

  • My Favorite Battery Brand
Size: 6 Count (Pack of 1)
I buy this product a couple times a year. I don't ever use the cheap batteries that come with electronic devices I buy. These last long and you can never go wrong with "The Energizer Bunny."
