You have to get these bulbs if you're tired of running out to the store at unGodly hours of the night for replacements. I have poorly lit bedroom lighting and these lights worked well for brightening the space up.

It's gotten difficult to find incandescent light bulbs and I wasn't sure that 3-way LED bulbs existed. Updating this because I have found that in SOME 3-way lamps, they work just fine. So, I'm raising them to 4 stars. They're great if you have the right lamp. I don't know how to tell which ones will work, but go ahead and try them. They're great if you have the right lamp. Original Review: I don't know why these will only work at a single brightness. I've tried them in several lamps that are definitely 3-way lamps, and I am really disappointed that they don't change when you turn the switch on the lamp. They just stay the same on all 3 settings. I was really thrilled to think that I'd found 3'way LED bulbs, but I guess it's not to be. They're very nice bulbs, but not 3-way. ... show more

This gets very bright, especially on the highest setting. Works with my three-way lamp. I am not sure I like the bright white color but that is my personal preference. I think I prefer a more yellow/orange tinged light.
