What a beast! In a good way - works great, plenty of power and well made. Had about 60 sq. ft. of saltillo tile to remove. Being cheap I tried with a tile chisel and hammer, took an hour to do 2 tiles by hand. This tool turned hours into minutes. The chisel bit that comes with the hammer walks right though heavy tile. I bought the tile bit too and it's great for knocking down peaks and extra mortar after the chisel has done its work. The side grip and bit angle are adjustable and make using the hammer comfortable. The 11 amp draw is a real plus - this hammer will run just fine on any decent extension cord. Definitely a good buy. ... show more

I purchased this a year ago and this past week finally used it. This was used to help dig 4 post-holes in very hard, rocky Arizona volcanic soil near the Grand Canyon. This thing performed incredibly well and made a very time consuming job much easier. It's size and weight made it easy to use and the shovel bit worked great. Hammer worked very well. Broke through a 7" thick concrete wall with no problem. I have a couple of other projects to use it on, I don't anticipate having any problems. Definitely worth the money. Cheaper for me to buy than rent.
