    • A Very Well Made Product and It IS Easy to Assemble
So I did a lot of looking around at various fire tables brands/manufactures before deciding on the Endless Summer model I purchased. It was listed in the top five best fire tables by a product research group. So starting with arrival and packaging: it arrived well packaged with no damage whatsoever. Very compact in its packaging. Assembly: I always marvel at reading customer reviews about assembly of any product from customers that apparently would have difficult assembling a travel coffee mug. I remember reading the same thing negative comments about a barbecue grill I recently purchased. People give one star to a product they have to assemble, and say things like, “the holes didn’t lineup and I had to send it back.“ Well, with sheet metal which flexes, I suppose the holes do not line up if you are not good at putting things together. I honestly believe that the individuals that have trouble assembling these things, are the same people that have trouble opening a carton of milk... which is why we put instructions on things like, “twist to the left to open.“ In any case, assembly was quite easy, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow assuming you use instructions to assemble a product, and all of the holes do in fact, line up. And all of the parts are included. So now it’s time to light the table. The thing that concerned me the most in just about all of the low rating reviews of fire tables that I read, concerned the igniter or inability to light the fire table using the igniter. Now I can’t speak about other fire tables, but the endless summer table that I have purchased uses an electronic igniter that is battery powered. It’s pretty simple and again, if you follow the instructions, you need to turn the knob to the start position at which time you will hear the igniter start clicking. The flame fires up immediately. Now, if you read any of the one star reviews, you will see comments like, “ the flame went out” or “ this is junk because it wouldn’t seat our” Why? I can only reason that people simply do not read instructions, which clearly say that you need to hold the knob in for 20 seconds to allow the thermal coupler to heat up. The thermal coupler it is a safety device for all open flame devices, that should the fire table fire go out on the table, the thermocoupler will stop the gas from flowing out. But, the thermal coupler has to be hot or it will close. This safety device is not unique to gas heaters. Your furnace has a thermal coupler and anybody who has a gas fireplace, even with a pilot light, will have a thermal coupler in it. When these products won’t stay lit after years of use, it is usually because the thermo coupler has to be replaced. In any case, don’t worry about the ignition systems because they do work, just like a barbecue grill. In fact, the fire table is exactly like a barbecue grill burner in that the only thing missing really is the grate. Of course, i wouldn’t recommend cooking on your fire table at all, because first of all it wasn’t designed for this purpose, and second of all it will make a mess. In conclusion, this Fire Table is a wonderful product and it really puts out the heat and adds ambiance. It adds much warmth to our deck during these cool fall nights. We have it positioned in between us to keep warm and the table itself provides ample room for a couple glasses of wine. The resin table top is nice because as it is made out of resin or heavy duty plastic, it does not get hot. We love this outdoor fireplace. Setup took us an hour to unbox and put everything together. The unit seems sturdy and lit easily on the first try. The unit is beautiful and really completes our outdoor setup. The small tweaks we did to try and make it even better were to buy StarFire glass (Crystal Diamond color). It took 20lb to fill it as pictured. 10lb left the burner ring visually exposed. We also bought a 30” gas fire pit cover on amazon since the one with this unit seems cheap and some reviews indicated it could stick to the table if left baking in the sun. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Living in an area with more rainy days than not, this is PERFECT for my covered deck! I can sit out here and watch the rain and wind while enjoying the warmth of the fire. This says that you need two people to assemble but I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour and a half. (I had to reposition the bottom where the tank goes because I attached it the wrong way, so that took a little extra time.) So far so good! The package was too heavy for me to carry alone so I just took it to where I was assembling it in pieces. I think the amount of glass they give you will work but feel free to order another bag. I got an additional 10lb bag of mixed color glass (blue, green and clear). I’ve not had any problems with black glass. I used one of the two boxes on glass that comes with it plus 2/3 of the extra 10lb bag I ordered. Overall great look, easy to assemble, and puts out just enough heat. And the adjustable output is nice as well. Heavy and sturdy but still light enough that I can move it around on the deck if I need to. I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I got a great deal on Amazon Prime Day! (one hundred sixty nine bux) From all the reviews, I was expecting this thing to be a pain to put together. It wasn't. It went together easily if you follow the directions. Took me about 20 minutes to put together (your assembly time may vary depending on your level of manliness). I was expecting it to be flimsy when assembled, but it wasn't. The full assembly is pretty sturdy. The only gripe I have, is that it could have come with JUUUUST a little more of the glass. It lit up quickly and shot up a good size flame. I can't wait to make s'mores with the family! ... show more

    • Really like this one. Minor mods made it better.
Really like this one. Used red and black fire glass. 10 lbs of each worked out well. Red outer ring and black in the center. I did adjust the airflow to the burner by drilling many small 1/8" holes (about twenty) directly under the burner mount plate and that keeps the fire glass from dulling with residue from incomplete gas combustion and let the flames flicker and rise better. I did have to disassemble the burner to add those holes but it was pretty easy to do. The burner ring is completely covered with the glass and the gas spreads out well and looks great with the flame seeming to appear directly out of the glass. The gas flow does make a little noise through the valve when on high but it's not loud enough to bother a normal conversation while sitting around the fire. Will probably add an extended propane gas line to a much larger bottle that can be setup outside the patio now because we like this fire pit and use it a lot. The small propane bottle that fits in the fire pit cabinet just doesn't last long enough for our use. ... show more
