It works well. Last year I had a problem with Google not refunding a double billing on my credit card. Issue never resolved. Lucky for me, credit card expired before they could renew both subscriptions for one Youtube Premium. After subscription lapsed, I discovered I could use a Gift card for Google Payment method. Problem solved. No more credit cards hostage situations for me. GOOGLE platform effectively externalizes the cost of mistakes onto users: double billings, mis‑assigned subscriptions, and accidental charges can be hard to contest, which means people often give up and absorb the loss. It's by design. The lack of accessible, human billing support suggests that revenue protection and cost minimization in support operations are prioritized over user satisfaction and error correction. Avoid tying your credit card to these Oligarchs and Robber Barrons. Use Gift cards for payment methods where ever possible. I even learned to use Gift cards for my Amazon purchases.

My bank account recently had several withdrawals that appeared to come from Microsoft, but we’re not. I was told that the charges came from outside of the US. Because of it, I opened a new bank account and I’ve been very afraid to put my bank account, despite the fact that I’m not sure that’s how it got hit. There were skimmers found in the local convenience store last summer, and it could’ve been from there. I also got a letter from a local hospital saying that their system has been hacked in my financial information I got out. So it can be just about anything that caused it and I’ll never know. I have been paying for extra storage on Google play because the amount of stuff I have on my phone is above the limit that you can get for free. They were blocking my access to my own documents and photos. While it wasn’t that I didn’t want to pay them. I just didn’t want to use my bank account. This was the perfect solution. I ordered it. It came to me right away, and I was able to add it to the Google play store to pay for my Extra storage. I only wish I had done it sooner because I deleted just about everything on my phone trying to get under the limit and somehow I was still over. I like that this card came right away. It was very easy to use and it saved me from having to put my bank account information there. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think Jules is the one that did it, but I just don’t want it to happen again.

This has been the worst experience with any kind of gift code that I've had so far! My Google Play credit has been locked from the moment that I redeemed my code from Amazon. Google Support is very little help in this situation. I get brushed off with them saying it's "inconsistencies" in my account and that they can't tell me what those are so I can fix them or provide proof for whatever for "security reasons". I finally got one semi helpful person who gave me a few reasons that it could happen. Emulators, multiple devices, and location mismatches are common reasons. Said she would make a note in my case for their "expert team" to review when I explained that I do indeed use emulators to play games on my pc and they show my location wrong no matter what I do to fix it. I've heard nothing from them since that last chat on Sept.11 and my money is still not available to me! It should not take this long for a team of experts to confirm this sort of thing and release an account. Especially when proof of a legitimate purchase was provided. I don't see how location matters either when people buy friends and loved ones gift codes when they live in different places all the time! No other gift code service has been bothered by any of this. It's now been over two months since the entire problem started and I've gotten nowhere. Nothing to do but keep trying whatever pathways available to reach a resolution here! So, if you use emulators, VPN, multiple devices on your account, have someone send you a gift code, or even just travel and buy from a different place than normal, I would really avoid buying Play Credit! Never know when the "security system" will flag you and there goes whatever money you had on your account!
