  • My experience using the EndgameGear XM2w 4k for some time
Size: Wireless Style: XM2w 4k Color: White
I have been using this mouse for over a few months now and the EndgameGear XM2w 4k is a very nice, solid mouse. The weight of this mouse is 62g, it is not the lightest weight mouse on the market but that is not the whole point of this mouse. It has solid build quality and its weight is very well distributed and balanced. This mouse supports a Polling Rate of 1kHz-4kHz. There are full size and smaller size mouse skates you can use which come with the mouse, I think prefer the full size skates usually. I swapped out the stock mouse skates but they seemed good if you don't care to change them out. This is a nice mouse for a claw style grip or similar because the way the hump is toward the back of the mouse rather than in the middle. I went from using other similar shapes such as the Pulsar X2V2 Mini, and Sora V2 but now I have been using this one. There is only one size available of this mouse currently. One thing I enjoy about this shape a lot is on the sides of the mouse in the middle, where your thumb sits and on the other side, it curves in a lot allowing for a nice grip. The software is a standalone Windows PC program, where you can configure the mouse and see its battery percentage. This mouse has features such as Angle Snapping, Ripple Control, Motion Sync, Slamclick Filter, and Motion Jitter Filter. Along with different click modes, Off, GX Safe Mode, and GX Speed Mode. There is also a Debounce Filter for Left, Right, Middle, Forward, and Back Buttons. Also Button Mapping, and Power Saving Mode and Deep Sleep Mode which you can set the delay until they turn on in minutes. I have been using this mouse with all of these features off and my clicks set to GX Speed Mode, if you have double clicks you can try changing it to GX Safe Mode, or Off. The mouse feels fine with these settings when using it and I don't really have any complaints. The Mouse1 and Mouse2 buttons don't wiggle very much or have much more pre/post travel compared to most mice I have used, probably about the same or less than other high quality options and they feel good. The side buttons also use full size mouse switches so they feel and sound high quality and also don't have much wiggle or pre/post-travel. The scroll wheel feels fine. I thought that maybe the scroll wheel was positioned a tiny bit too far forward before I used the mouse, but after using the it the scroll wheel seems fine where it is and it's easy for me to use. The mouse's battery charges pretty quick I feel like I have noticed, and it seems to last a reasonable amount of time. The charging cable is well made and it just feels like a wired mouse that has a nice cable when plugged in. I have been using this mouse mainly with the Artisan Type-99 mousepad and it has been a nice combo for a "control" setup. It's priced similarly to other high-end mice, and if that's what you are looking for, I would recommend this mouse. ... show more

  • Best claw mouse
Size: Wired Style: XM2 8k Color: Black
Shape is phenomenal if you play aggressive claw and the software is so simple and not over cluttered with unnecessary things like most softwares(razer logitech). Build quality once again amazing ever since i bought my xm1r years ago this company has never failed to impress when it comes to delivering quality products ... show more

  • Best wired gaming mouse I've ever had
Size: Wired Style: XM2 8k Color: Dark Frost
Before picking this up I mained a Lamzu Atlantis. I still swap between that and the end gear depending on whether I am traveling or not. But when at home I solely use the End game... It is that good! I love the aesthetics, the feel, and everything else this mouse offers, it just can't be beaten. In terms of functionality, it does everything I need it to as a work and gaming mouse. The only macros I require are the back and forward buttons on the left side of the mouse. Very responsive and the feedback is also great. ... show more

  • Worst Support and QA available.
Size: Wired Style: XM2 8k Color: White
A genuine specimen of technology that somehow works and amazes you for maybe a week to a month before the QA issues arise. So you might have a good mouse in your hands for a short period of time but as an active member in the mouse review community I can say that if you order this mouse you will be returning it within a month or so. I say this because they all have either, battery issues, cable issues, and/or sensor issues. It would be ok if there support wasn't so GIGAGARBAGE. My brother ordered a mouse from them last year and it took them a functional year to give him a refund for a mouse they never even shipped. I ordered this mouse because everyone says that EGG is alright if you dont get the QA issues. Just dont order it save yourself time. ... show more

  • Could have been my main mouse...
Size: Wired Style: XM2 8k Color: White
This was honestly one of the best gaming mice that I have used in the past couple of years. The shape was incredibly comfy and I probably had some of my best aim with it. Some people might think that the wire was an issue but it was basically nonexistent, even without a mouse bungee. The glides were just as good as any other mouse and the side buttons were also very good. My issue however, was with the scroll wheel and the main mouse buttons. The scroll wheel was way to easy to click in and as someone who plays games where you often need to use the scroll wheel, it was pretty annoying to see the action that was binded to the scroll wheel click happen, just because I was trying to scroll the wheel only. The scroll wheel was also pretty rough from the start but after some playtime, it got easier to use. The issues mentioned before were still prevalent. The other issue which basically made this mouse unusable, was the fact that even from day 1 of receiving the mouse, it already had the issues of double-clicking, which made it VERY difficult to use in games that required a bunch of clicking, as the double clicking would just completely ruin the rhythm of what I was doing. It would even happen during normal use of desktop viewing and such. This very well could have been my main mouse, if those two issues didn't exist, but I guess it is what it is. ... show more

  • Overall Best Hybrid Grip Shape with little to no flaws
Size: Wireless Style: XM2w 4k Color: White Frost
I wasn't expecting much of a difference from the XM1r to the XM2w4k but it's definitely noticeable. Having no cable is a huge plus but also a learning curve for me. Idk if it's the weight change or the cable drag from the XM1r but the mouse feels way more smooth and fluent than the XM1r causing me to over shoot a lot more when aiming. The updated polling rate is also noticeable if you're keen on looking for it. It's not a huge advantage but it's another thing you'll have to get used to. Battery life is mid-range from other mice I've used. Price is a bit much but the overall design, sensors, and size is what I was looking for. Accurate as can be as far as I can tell. Most of the downsides I've listed are personal and not much to do with the quality of the mouse ... show more
