I bought it because I had to get up of bed to turn off my lamp before sleeping and this one offered a remote control that would take care of it for me, and it does the job. It does come with plenty of settings that can only be adjusted through the remote control, but understandably not to have a dimmer on the cable due to the price. I wish the cable was a little longer because of my bedroom setting, but it is not bad. I do find it is bright enough, but the brightness is very centered, and does not illuminate the bedroom as a whole as a table lamp I have, but it does a great job nonetheless. ... show more

Received the light fixture, but the remote didn’t work with it after some emailing back-and-forth, company replaced the remote for me and gave me a discount. The light was perfect for my needs. I even hard wired it.

I initially bought one to brighten up a "dead" area by my desk and computer. It was easy to install and produced the perfect amount of light needed. The computer desk is in my living room which is about 15x20 ish. I bought a second one to replace the lamps and it is sufficient. I also like that it cleared up floor space and looks more modern. The light is great to use in a small bedroom. One light gives off plenty of light. However, I installed two for when extra light is needed. I had a problem with one of the lights but the seller took care it immediately. Excellent customer service!
