    • Good Cooktop
Size: 30 Inch
It is getting increasingly difficult to find a electric cooktop that is not a smooth top unit. My ancient cooktop quit working, so I bought and installed this one which my wife likes much better than the old one. We haven't noticed any more heat around the coil areas than the old unit had; yes, within an inch or two of the coil it is very hot, but I think that is to be expected. We haven't noticed any undue flexing of the unit. The knobs give a much wider range than our old stove that had pushbuttons, so can control the heat much better. It cleans up easy enough. Installation was pretty straight forward, other than some retrofitting that I had to do as the old unit was some odd size a little larger than this--not the fault of this unit. I imagine that someone halfway handy with tools and knowledgeable enough on electrical wiring could replace an existing cooktop in one to two hours. I think I did our install in about four hours and that was with making the counter hole smaller so the unit wouldn't fall through and a trip to the hardware store to get some wire nuts. ... show more

    • Empanadas gas cook top…
Size: 36 Inch
Nice looking cook top, but only 3of the 5 burners work, large center burner gets gas but won’t light. The small one on the top right gas will not flow to it so it won’t light also no matter which burner knob I turn on all the igniters spark at same time. Not sure but I think they should come on individually . ... show more

    • Works great and an easy installation
Size: 30 Inch
This stove top me our needs perfectly, and for the price it cannot be beat. We used it to replace an old GE stove top which was 60 years old. It fit the original opening perfectly, so I simply set it in place. It works really well, with a nice wide temperature range; it boils water quickly and simmers perfectly. I am sure we could have spent more, but I am not sure it would perform any better. ... show more

Looks pretty when you install it, after that looks horrible, the material very bad quality. Looks like burned after the second use and tried everything to get ride of it and failed.

    • Good value cooktop
Size: 30 Inch
The cooktop came from a participant with Amazon. Delivery was prompt and as advertised. Installation by electrician was routine with no problems and at reasonable charge ($80). All the burners cook very well and the controls are accuratea and easy to adjust. I would rate the performance as 5 of 5 stars and the stainless steel cooktop as 3 of 5 stars. Its not exactly stainless and easy to keep good looking, but it is highly functional. Overall satisfaction very good. ... show more

Very good product for the price. My household put things through the ringer and this stove is great. It get plied on dumped on and it still keeps working. It's simple and works good. I wish you could get more appliances without all the crazy electronics and simple control. Great product if you not looking for all kinds of bells and whistles. ... show more
