I love this knife set so far! They seem well made. I see some people complaining they were ‘covered in glue,’ mine were as well, but it’s just excess of a rubbery glue that comes off 100% with very little effort. I’ve also seen complaints about the knives getting too dull right away. And I feel that these people don’t realize that you’re supposed to sharpen a knife every time you use it. If you do that, they should always stay sharp. You don’t wait until they are already damaged to try and remedy the issue. And finally, I saw reviews complaining of spots after washing. I have had zero, but I also do not put my knives in the sink EVER. Not only is that very unsafe, but that’s how your stuff gets ruined. Stainless steal does not mean it cannot get damaged. If you leave it soaking in the sink, or sitting wet in a dish rack, they’re not gonna stay nice looking. I’m a believer that your knives should be washed, dried, and stored right away. I love this set and think they look lovely. The only thing I don’t love is that the scissors don’t have the twist apart blades like a lot of kitchen scissors. These knives seem really nice and high quality for the price. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this set a few months ago. I am continually impressed with this set. Excellent quality, perfect weight for each knife, and super sharp (including the scissors). They make preparing meals so much easier. I highly recommend this set.

The media could not be loaded. I'm not paying chef quality prices, so I'm not expecting Chef quality knives. What I did get, was way better quality than I expected (which is always nice). Context for this review, these knives replaced a set that we've had over 20 years and were mid to high range quality. I bought 3 different sets to compare at the same time. One went back before being fully unboxed. The handles felt like light cheap plastic, and the set actually cost more. The other was more comparable, but still did not have the sturdy, comfortably weighted, feel of these knives. Plus, I love the extra smooth feel of the grips on these. The color is what bright me to the knives in the first place. It is as pictured. It goes great in the house in which we recently moved (with a much different color scheme than we've ever had prior to this). The knives have cut very well, especially for their price point which is always important to keep in mind. I loved everything about these including over the set we kept for over 20 years, except for one small thing. The scissor placement. This is an issue with many of the sets even the "higher quality" ones that cost much more. The Scissors are probably the most consistently used single item, but they have a lower profile and are stuck in the center of higher profiled knives. This does not make them as easy to retrieve or return as it would if they were in the front or at least a far edge of the block. I mean, it makes no sense to me to have a taller item (that is probably not used as regularly = knife sharpener) in front of the scissors. That is for me the only reason I could not give it 5 stars. I'm also a little worried about the actual block showing wear and tear relatively easily with the knives etc... coming in and out over time. But hopefully, that can be easily fixed with wood touch up. I have not been willing to put them in the dishwasher despite conflicting information saying they are dishwasher safe. One steak knife got put in by a guest and it came out just fine, but I personally still would not want to run the risk of effects over time. Overall I am thrilled with this knife set which has been in use for over 4 months before being reviewed. It is absolutely gorgeous and works and cuts well minus the scissors placement mentioned above.

Sharpened on both sides of the knife, not just one side. My son says that’s important for even cutting. I love the look and the feel! Nice and heavy, feels sturdy.

This knife set is not only beautiful, but they all work great as well. I've had them for a few months and they make cooking a little bit more fun for me. The quality is top-notch, at least to a non-cook like me. Very happy with my purchase.

This set is well worth the money! Not only is the color gorgeous, the knives are sharp and cut everything like butter! This is the best knife set I've ever purchased and I'm in my 40s! I would definitely suggest these as a gift, maybe new home owners, a new home chef, or for anyone who cooks! They're really comfortable to hold correctly. They're perfect weight. They look beautiful in the block! (I do wish I had other color choices for the block.) The kitchen sheers are also sharp! I had to educate my kids that the sheers are for food, not paper, plastic or anything else. They're to cut food. 😉
