I ordered this twin box spring to go with my new Firm-Gold mattress, and so far, I’m very happy with it! I wanted everything brand new since I was finally replacing my old bed setup, and this box spring was a great choice. It came well-packaged, with all the parts neatly organized. Assembly was straightforward — I took my time while my mattress was decompressing and had it fully put together in under an hour. Once assembled, it felt sturdy and stable right away. I didn’t notice any bending, creaking, or weak spots. The metal pieces fit together tightly, and I added a few zip ties where the metal meets metal, just to make sure there was zero movement or noise — and it’s been completely silent ever since. The height is just right for now. I paired it with a 14” mattress, and while the setup sits a little lower than I prefer, that’s more about my frame being short. A set of bed risers will easily fix that later. I also used some leftover plywood cut to size on top of the box spring before placing the mattress, to make sure the surface was perfectly flat (memory foam can sag if not fully supported). That setup has worked perfectly so far. Overall, I’m impressed — this box spring feels strong, supportive, and well-built. It was affordable, easy to assemble, and made a huge difference in how solid my new bed feels. If you’re looking for a sturdy foundation without spending a fortune, this one’s a great pick. Easy to put together, the instructions were so easy to follow. It comes with all the tools you need to assemble it. We put it together in less than 20 minutes and that was more trying to open the packing then the actual assembly. Easy to screw into place. Very sturdy, held together carrying up the stairs and supports a twin or twin xl mattress easily. Comfort level I would say minimal as this is the box spring that'll hold the mattress, so that ultimately will depend on the mattress but I will say you cannot feel it at all underneath the mattress. ... show more

This metal box spring is sturdy, easy to assemble and is quite comfortable. I put a mattress topper between the box spring and my mattress and I am quite comfortable. I weight a bit over 300 lbs so if it can handle me without putting me in pain most people should be fine.     • A screw gun with the right allen head, it will make it a lot faster than the allen wrench included.

Easy assembly. Some of the welds were a little wonky on the cross members but will not affect function. A few spots had the powder coat rubbed off but it was not obvious. These led to 4 stars. I would recommend this.
