Easter Bunny dropped this off and plugged it well in advance for what was supposed to be an exciting easter morning. Our child went to use it and when it is unplugged it does nothing, can't get it to turn on. Plug it in and then it turns on. Reached out to support via Amazon and was provided a company link. The company said it was the wrong division and gave a new link. Followed the new link and filled out the contact with the issue, have not heard anything. It is fun design and great quality boards, however, not for younger kids. Got it for my 5 year old son (45lbs). It turned out he was not heavy enough. Every time he was trying to ride it, his hover board started to vibrate and almost throwing him of the board. The reason was that the sensors were not getting enough weight to make sure that there is a rider. My 6 years old had the same problem, but not that often. My weight is 112 and it worked just fine. The heavier kid, the better it runs. Got my son a different brand from Walmart, (because he couldn't wait much longer) and it works just fine. ... show more

This is by far my son’s favorite Xmas gift this year and mine as well!! Every year I get my son something extra special and this year it was a hoverboard. I was hesitant to buy this because imagining him on a self riding “skateboard” type thing made me nervous. Not to mention the butterflies I had taking him out for his first ride. I was wrong to have any nerves at all, it has been amazing! He was riding it easily on grass within ten minutes and then moved to concrete and was riding it like a pro within twenty minutes or so. This has been the best Xmas gift I’ve gotten him in a couple years! Not to mention it was incredibly affordable!
