    • Cozy chair, short screws
This is a cozy cozy chair. I love the look and the feel. It's a perfect corner reading nook chair. The only issue I have is that the screws for the arm rests were WAY too short. They didn't go all the way through, so you couldn't add the nut on the other side. They either need longer screws or shorter holes. I went to Lowes and got a wooden dowel to fill the hole prior to adding the screw, but the dowel would just fall out into the cushion of the armrest. Finally I just didn't screw it in all the way and was able to bolt the other side. However the directions say to tighten the screws in so that the armrests are secure. I love my chair but I'm a little worried that the armrests are subpar now. I'll just be careful with it. ... show more

Nice looking chair. It was easy to assemble and had great instructions. The seat cushion is not as full as the back or the ottoman cushions, which makes it uncomfortable. **UPDATE: After contacting the seller, they suggested patting the cushion to help it recover (it was compressed in shipping). Surprisingly, this worked. Not only did it look fuller, it is. And, it's more comfortable. Allow a day or two for the cushion to recover. ... show more

    • No, the "screws" are not too short
To assemble the chair, you put the armrest on the floor with the bolts facing up, and then put the side of the seat on top of it. The weight of the seat pushes the bolts through so you can attach the nuts. Then you tighten the nuts with a wrench, which pushes the bolts through even further. If you do this, you'll see that you end up with 1" of extra bolt length. The cover of the instructions mentions that it's easier to assemble if you put the chair on its side. This is what they're referring to. Also, the metal things that attach the armrests to the seat are bolts, not screws. Screws are pointy. These are not pointy. These are flat, which makes them bolts. ... show more

It was late by at least a week, but the item did come in. The chair was a cream white fleece. It seems comfortable. They give an instruction book with pictures and no written directions. The only problem being that one of the legs didn’t line up with the hole other than that it wasn’t too hard . It does look nice in my room and is small enough to fit . ... show more
