The slimes in this kit turned out a lot prettier and much higher quality than I was expecting. We did cut the glue bottles in half and used a rubber scraper to get it all out, and there was still more than enough activator. The finished slimes are squishy without being gooey, leave no residue on my wooden table, and my son LOVES cutting them up and mashing them back together. The glow-in-the-dark slime is probably my favorite, but really, they are all very awesome. We have done 4 of the 5: he gets one per week of school without a tally. They don't collect a lot of dirt, they don't leave a trail, and he's been fantastic at keeping them in their ziplock bags, because he likes to play with these more than any other slime he's had before.

Most kids like to get their hands dirty and it seems like every generation has a slime toy that those kids want. Silly putty, flubber ,etc. This kit is great for that. I had to help with the mixing but once it was partly incorporated i let her finish mixing on her own. We had to add a bit of this and a bit of that in order to gain the consistency that she was happy with. In my opinion it comes with enough material to last a while, so you can make some slime that will last a while if stored in a Ziploc bag or similar. We've made two types since we opened it and there will be fresh slime to mix on a rainy day. WARNING!!!!! I would say regardless of age, make them wear some play clothes that will get dirty and cover or pull their hair back. Even though we were able to take some stickiness out of it, it still stuck to the hairs on her arm etc. It will stick to woven cloth and if you don't get it out in time, you probably never will lol. So if the child is playing with it on a carpet , put down an old sheet or plastic table cloth. And have fun!

I have purchased other slime brands for my kids, we all have, but not all are same. This kit was perfect for my daughter. She loved it and said it was so easy to follow and each slime she made turned out great. Other kids we have bought in the past never turn into what it says it will. She loves it, and I love it because it does not stick to her hands and create a huge mess.
