I purchased the Elitech digital wireless manifold gauges expecting professional-grade performance for the nearly $800 price tag, but unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing. The biggest issue is connectivity. The wireless connection constantly drops out, especially the moment the A/C compressor kicks on. The range is extremely limited, making the wireless functionality almost useless in real-world HVAC work where you need to move around equipment or monitor readings from a distance. The display itself looks modern indoors, but the shiny screen makes it very difficult to read in direct sunlight. On rooftop jobs or outdoor service calls, visibility becomes a real problem and slows down workflow. Battery life is another major downside. The batteries drain far too quickly for a tool in this price range, forcing frequent charging and creating reliability concerns during long service days. Overall, the gauges look impressive and the concept is great, but the actual performance falls far short of expectations. For the amount of money these cost, I expected dependable operation and professional reliability. Instead, they feel unfinished and frustrating to use in the field. At this price point, I would strongly recommend sticking with proven brands such as Fieldpiece, Testo, or Yellow Jacket that have a much better reputation for durability, connectivity, and real-world performance. Honestly I would like to try another set to see if this issue is just a bad unit or just a bad product cause if it is just a faulty unit then this review will be obsolete and I will have to delete it and would love to remove it as they do look like a very promising product. ... show more
