Have had 2 of them since December of last year. They’re way too bulky, the connections allow enough play that the catcher rod does not guide straight into the core you’re trying to pull and the rod digs into the o-ring. Because of that the tip of the rod gets clogged up with o-ring pieces because it doesn’t go in straight and then you can’t grab the core! Super disappointing for the cost and I love fieldpiece tools. Also noticed that the catcher rod likes to get stuck and doesn’t glide smoothly with the threaded part after sitting for a day or 2. Will be going back to Appion core tools no doubt. ... show more
