    • Hoses WILL leak. Poor quality ball valves.
These hoses are junk. I even took the plastic seals out of the hose ends and installed quality genuine Yellowjacket rubber seals. Still leaked. The leaks are coming from the ball valve fittings. The first time the hoses are used, it deforms the plastic gasket, which is why I replaced them with Yellowjacket seals. These hoses WILL NOT hold a vacuum, no matter what you do. Might get you by if you are in a serious pickle, but don’t expect to pull a vacuum or use these professionally. Every single hose had the same issue, leaking from the ball valve. ... show more

    • Price is excellent
I have been a commercial and industrial HVACR tech for over 19 years. To buy these hoses locally is very expensive. I have no idea how they can sell these so cheap but I now have them on three different manifolds. Have not changed the gaskets yet, don't leak and the ball vales hold perfectly (pulled a vacuumed on a chiller to 121 microns with these.) Strongly recommend to the HVACR pro. Don't get sucked into the Yellow Jacket only garbage. ... show more

    • Good hoses, connections are a little difficult to connect
Good hoses with a ball valve on the end which is nice when disconnecting from the condenser, keeps excess refrigerant from hoses spraying onto your hands and burning them. My only complaint is when connecting/disconnecting the hoses you have to tighten it on to the service valve port as tight as you can get it or it will not seal properly and will cause refrigerant to leak out. So when disconnecting you have to use all your might to loosen it and can cause refrigerant to begin leaking and burn your hands. Bought because old set was over 5 years old so time to replace. Should work as good as yellow jacket without the price. The cut off valves are a must. Old set will be around if I need. Price was good.
