This urn is probably the worst one on the market. It is so bad that as a person who never writes reviews- I actually sat down and did this one. I ordered my first Elite Gourmet urn about a year ago and at first loved it. It heated up the water well and kept it decently hot, then about 6 months in it suddenly stopped working. I said "Ok every company can have 1 lemon, I like this urn and will buy another". Worst decision!! The 2nd urn that I purchased around 6 months ago also suddenly stopped working!!! So unless you like buying a new urn every 6 months- STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ELITE GOURMET URN!!!! ... show more

We used this large coffee pot in our softball concession stand during those chilly games, and it worked perfectly! It kept the water hot for hot chocolate. The size is great for serving a crowd without constant refilling. The only downside is that it takes a while to heat up due to its large capacity—but once it’s ready, it performs flawlessly. This 40 cup coffee maker works great. We use it at our church every Sunday and have had no problems with it. We do have hard water so we need to clean it with vinegar every few months. We have been using it for over 6 months and have had no problems with it. It is light weight and easy to clean. The coffee is good and it got knocked off the table once and it still works. I'm also super excited because it fits snuggly in small spaces. This is a plus. This coffee maker holds 3 and a half pots of coffee (or 40 cups) and also dispenses hot water. The easy to flip spout allows for an easy pour and no drip when positioned back upright. You do have to be careful of what type of coffee ground you use because it can be a little tricky keeping the grounds out of your drink. The cord is a decent length allowing you to place in one spot and not necessarily right next to an outlet. The chrome is easy to polish and keep clean as well. I am happy to have this addition in my kitchen because we go through pot after pot of coffee in our home and this makes it so much more convient for us heavy coffee drinkers.
