I bought this 3 years ago. I’ve made a full 6 qt batch at least every two weeks. It works fantastic. Never had an issue. Reminds me of one my dad had when I was a kid. It was only a crank and we all took turns. I’m ok with not having to crank it 😆.

I picked up the Elite Gourmet EIM916 Old Fashioned 6‑Quart Ice Cream Maker and overall, it’s a great addition for summer gatherings and holiday traditions. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars — it did take a little longer than expected for the ice cream to start freezing, but honestly, that may have been operator error on my part. Once it got going, it churned beautifully and made a big batch perfect for sharing. The vintage wood bucket gives it that classic, old‑fashioned charm, and the large 6‑quart capacity makes it ideal for parties, BBQs, and especially 4th of July celebrations. If you grew up making homemade ice cream with your family, this is such a fun way to continue (or start!) a nostalgic tradition. It's nice to have the electric option, but it also comes with a handle if you want to hand churn the ice cream. Kids love watching it churn, adults love the memories, and nothing is better than homemade ice cream. Nice machine. It is pretty heavy duty. Even the plastic bucket is quite heavily made in my opinion. Easy to set up and is big enough to make alot of ice cream in one shot. It is worth the money in my opinion as well.

I don't know where to start with this and how badly it went wrong before I could even NOT use it. Also it is beyond me that it didn't even come with anything it was supposed to. 1. They failed to not only miss several pieces it seems nothing attached correctly. 2. Nothing attaches correctly so the device can not be set up correctly. 3. How do you miss pieces ... That literally makes it run is a skill beyond mine. I didn't think it was a talent to miss pieces for a machine but I mean this is America and it's run by 'special men'. 4. I tried several ways to get pieces to attache correctly but they fall right off and out when I flip them to be on top. 5. There is not bottom to hold the can. The container has a giant bump on the bottom and the metal can won't sit well. 6. The device is a joke and clearly someone who shouldn't be allowed to live with this low of an IQ but I'm not thrilled. 7. Lucky number 7! Also came with zero directions. I swear when humans go extinct will be the happiest day ever. Is it really that difficult to build a device that works, send all the pieces together and have it work? No apparently the seller is inadequate and incompetent. Don't know who or how this worked for anyone but this is garbage and a waste of money, time, effort and energy. Hard to say that this is a user error, even turned it on. It spun the metal can and the plastic pieces just fell out 🤣🤣 Tried to upload a video but this archaic app doesn't load. Note: I would leave infinity negative stars. One of my biggest issues with humanity is it's inability to create a functioning device. The best ice cream machine I have ever owned. The ice cream is done in 30 minutes and then put in freezer to harden. Instructions are thorough and easy to understand. Also, includes recipes. Highly recommend!!!!
