I make matcha with this every day! I’ve actually went through 3-4 of these in the course of 2 years (I use it A LOT), BUT I’ve also tried others and this is my favorite. There’s one out there that has a double spiral that is extremely powerful (obviously more expensive) but if what you’re frothing is even a little more than a half or a cup full, it splashes everywhere. I’ve also used others that if you push the button it “turns on” and stays on until you push the button again. I personally prefer this version where you push the button to turn it on but when you release, it stops. I also never realized I’m the type of person to put a review this long about a milk frother, but considering how often I use it, I feel like it’s justified. lol.

Update: I used this item maybe 3 times and it now has an odd rattle to it, the rod seems to goin a wonky circle and not vibrate straight down, my creamer no longer foams, new batteries have no effect. Super disappointed. Just received this product today. Initially, I had a hard time achieving the foam that a lot of other positive reviewers did. It may have been because I was trying to froth in a foam cup and was apprehensive about the frother touching the sides and piercing the cup. I switched to a porcelain mug and tried again with less creamer, still no go. I then heated the creamer and tried again with MORE creamer lol Eventually I figured out the correct angle and up and down movement and voila! SUPER FOAM Pros: 1. The stand is a really nice touch for convenient countertop storage and added protection for product longevity (keeps it from becoming victim to the junk drawer) 2. Super powerful 3. Does what it says 4. Sleek, thin style fits comfortably in my hand Cons: 1. On button is up top and does not stay on without you holding it down which is slightly awkward 2. Battery compartment is tight and it sounded like I was breaking it trying to get the batteries in. Concerned about removal. 3. Bought the original, and I loved the size, momentary on/off switch, and hanging stand, but switch broke within a week. The manufacturer replaced it with the new version, which is slimmer and has an actual press on, press off button, but no stand, and it doesn't fit in old stand :( . The slimmer version works well, but doesn't fit well in my large hands. Minus one star for defective original, and the lack of stand for replacement.
