The quality is fairly good, but these lamps are WAY smaller than I imagined. You might want to measure the size you need next to your bed or sofa before ordering. I had already thrown away the packaging, so I couldn't return them. I solved the issue somewhat my placing the two lamps on two sturdy black tissue boxes in order to give them more height. (See before and after pics). What I couldn't solve was the dark imperfection on the front of one of the shades. (And it can't be turned to the back because of the obvious seam on the other side of the shade). ... show more
