Installation of the product under the kitchen sink was easy. and works great. Contrary to the product installation instructions which specifies that the water inlet come from the cold water supply, I hooked up the inlet to the hot water supply. The reason is that the hot water supply in my house is about 50 feet from the kitchen sink and one needs to run the water for a minute or more to get warm water. With this Electrolux heater installed, I get hot water in 5 seconds approximately. Since the Electrolux has a 1.5 gallon tank, it cannot supply a large quantity of hot water. When connected to the hot line, the house's hot water heater works in tandem with the Electrolux underounter water heater. This arrangement works great!!! Hot water, no waiting......... ... show more

Bought this product for a grooming salon. Bathing 8-12 animals per day and we have enough hot water. The temp sensor did not screw into the spot correctly. I had to go to the hardware store to modify and make threads comparable.

OK, it’s only been about 30 days of you so far but I love this thing and I’m so happy every time I go to use the faucet. I’d have to run the water for two minutes in the past just to get it warm enough to do some dishes and I’d wind up saving them now. I just walk right up scrub the pan and all is well. It’s been pretty cold here too, and it’s on an outside wall and it still is warm as it was last month when I first started using it I hope it last if it doesn’t I’d buy another it’s that satisfying and saves water in the end as I have a septic system and prefer not to run water when I don’t have to ... show more

Re the "2026 Early Release" 1.5 gallon unit (model EES015) : It's nice looking, and the installation was not too difficult once you get the proper connecting hoses. As other have commented, the teflon tape that is supplied with the unit is very poor quality -- spend a couple of bucks and get better tape. My major complaint is about the temperature of the water. I want warm (not hot) water, straight from this heater (i.e., not mixed with cold water) . So the variable temperature dial looked perfect. The Electrolux manual says "temperature range is 55-145 °F". With the temperature dial set in the same place (apx. 6 o'clock), over several days I measured the water at: 81, 91, 100, 93, 84, 86, 81, 95 °F. That's too wide a spread if you ask me. I know that thermostats have cut-in and cut-out temperatures, and the gap between them is called the differential. 19 °F seems like an awfully big differential! Is there a way to adjust this to a narrower temperature band? ... show more
