They do provide a nice variety of options to connect several devices, including a vinyl record player, yet the sound quality is a bit lacking. They do provide great volume capabilities, but you will need a separate equalizer to tweak base and treble IF, and only IF, you are very picky for stuff like that. Really impressed with the sound quality of these small speakers. If you set em up correctly and have a decent turntable for em to work at their peak, then these are a good buy! I'm running a technics sl 1200mk2 Jancane phono turntable pre amp (Amazon)

They sound Ok for the price but do not match the hype. I have considered returning then but they are cheap enough to throw away when I find what I really want. I use them in bed on a shelf in back of my head to listen to music before going to sleep. There are two main issues other than the fair but not great sound quality. 1: they emit a hiss. The hiss is on whenever they are turned on. The hiss is noiceable when music is playing but especially noticeable when the music is off. The only way to stop the hiss is to power off the speakers. That leads to the second problem 2: the off/on button also controls source selection. It's not easy to off/on the speakers without entering source selection mode. So turning them off/on is not just a touch of a button. It's also reconnecting the correct sourse, in my case Aux, but there is also bluetooth and Rca which I don't use. It should have separete on/off, source and volune. Volume is the third function of the one button. That would not be a problem if the speakers didn't hiss, but they do. So they need to be turned off when not in use. And then reenter source selection mode when turning them on again. I will live with them for a short time while I search for something better. ... show more
