  • Very pleased with this purchase on 12/12/24
12/12/24. POSITIVES: very light and battery pack secures in a convenient location. Has multiple speed settings allowing for safe use indoors and adequate speed at highest setting to keep up with fast walkers outdoors. Wheels are big allowing for use on loose gravel Front wheels have a spring which serves as a shock absorber. Folds up easily for storage in car trunk. Hand break handles are long and easily accessible while sitting in wheelchair. This power wheelchair is extremely quiet when in use. Battery is lithium ion which are very light and have a long life cycle of recharging. Battery last a long period of time. Battery charger is small and light and easily stored in the storage pack on the backside of the seat back. I purchased an extra battery and find it very convenient to store it on the left side of the wheelchair as there is a bracket to hold it in place. (This second battery bracket is in case you want to use the joystick with your left hand) Excellent customer service. NEGATIVES: joystick like all wheelchair joysticks is very sensitive and requires practice to master. Lifting armrests are not strong enough to push off from. I use the frame bar just below the armrests to push off from when transferring or repositioning. Foot pedals are not removable like most wheelchairs, but they do lift up to take less space when storing it. When powered off, it is supposed to be freewheeling, and it is able to be pushed, but not as freely as a traditional wheelchair. I wish it had reflectors to be easily seen at night. _______________________________________ 10/25/25 update. I’ve had this power chair just under a year and I reviewed my initial review and agree with everything I wrote. Only design flaw I have found is the armrest with the controller frequently flips all the way back, crashing onto the floor when I lift it to allow myself to get off. I corrected this by securing a L-bracket onto the seat back to prevent this inconvenience. A minor design flaw. I have had no problems and use it daily. Highly recommend getting a second battery as you can charge one while using the other. ... show more

  • Perfect size, easy to put in and out of the car
This wheelchair is for my daughter but I have to lift it in and out of the car and I was very pleased with how compact it was and how lightweight it is. It folds up very nice. She loves it. It gives her so much mobility, has a great battery life, which is nice because it gives her the independence that she craves, She can ride it up to the corner, store and back without any problems. ... show more

  • Light weight
Easy to load. Holds a good charge even in the trunk of my car. After my Chemo treatments started I did need help with loading and unloading the chair. My Son took care of that. As of now so far so good. Great item I would highly recommend it to anyone however it's not a toy!

  • IMPRESSIVE (especially for cost)
This thing is amazing. I have taken it around the world with no problem what so ever. It has been ridden through cow pastures in Scotland to see the standing stones and through gravel lots in Norway. Just returned from Newfoundland and went everywhere I wanted to go. Bad sidewalks and cobblestones were no problem. I gone up and down fairly steep inclines without any problems. This chair is really unbelievable. No problems at all at airports. The battery is easily removed and reinstalled (after I marked the cable top to help line it up). I whole heartily recommend this chair for price, durability and dependability. I have had it for 7 months. ... show more

  • Too heavy for transporting
Liked the idea that it was foldable and weighed 37.7 lbs. When assembled it weighs more than that. Was UNABLE TO GET LOADED IN MY SUV. Could not lift alone for transporting. Since I will be alone 99% of the time this not the product for me. Disappointing. Price wasn't too bad.

  • Good chair for price
Update #2 I've had this chair for 7 months. The big wheels have came off twice so far. Once because someone tripped over me and once because I hit a large crack in the paved trail I was on. Theyre quite difficult to put back on with my weak hands so im just stuck when this happens. If you get going down too steep an incline, the brakes dont work and your manual ones won't stop you either. You'll just slide and it inevitably slides me sideways into something. The chair goes extremely slow even on full speed when sideways on an incline and is difficult to steer. My battery already doesn't last a full day at the zoo or theme parks on a full charge. I'll be investing in a second battery soon. Hoping insurance gets me a good chair soon. Today at the zoo, I got my chair out and started to go, it felt weird, like a flat tire and then it just tipped over and I fell out. The whole front wheel bracket came off. Its bolted on and the nuts came off! The chair seems to be wearing out very very quickly. Update* I have had this almost 3 months and haven't been able to use it for half of the time. The charger that was sent was faulty, they sent another. It didn't work so I was sent a battery then when that battery needed charged I tried again with the new charger. Neither charger is working. So we've now determined both chargers were faulty. I was assured a new one was on its way a week ago and it's still not here, it still says another 3 days on my supposed 3 day shipping! This leaves me unable to attend drs appointments, I've missed family events and im stuck in my house. I'm getting VERY frustrated! The customer service guy seems nice enough but I cant believe it wasn't overnighted after I've already been without use so long! My chair is so important for mobility. I was offered no compensation for the zoo passes I now cannot use and will expire before I can use, no solutions , nothing for all this inconvenience. Just excuses that it's the electricity in my house that is the problem. Others have mentioned these cheap chargers that come with this chair in their reviews, so plan to buy a different charger if you buy the chair. Original review. This is the second chair I purchased from Amazon. The other didn't work out. This one is lightweight even with the battery attached. I have a neurological condition that mimics stroke, half my body goes weak/numb and I've been stuck not being able to get out during episodes. My legs also become very weak if I walk "longer" distances so I use this for days out. Pros: It was very easy to put together and charge. The chair works wonderfully and steers easily. Lightweight, wheelie bars and pedals attached, pedals and handles fold up. Cons: The small wheel in front makes it harder to be "all terrain". I'd call this a paved surface chair only honestly. It'd probably do fine on packed gravel or ground but not so much on grass, unpacked ground or wood chips. The handles and foot pedals feel a bit flimsy but to keep it lightweight I expect that. The back up beep cannot be turned off or lowered and is very loud. Personally I have to carry a cane and prefer to have a cup holder so having the ability to attach things to the chair would be nice but accessories are available for this. A side bag would also be nice as it's hard to reach the bag on the back of the chair. Overall I'm very pleased with the cost, weight and ability of this chair so far. I've used it at a theme park and zoo both with great hills and varied terrains and it's done well on most of it. The brakes do slip a bit when facing down hill on a steep incline. ... show more
