We really like this heater! We did need an electrician to install it, and we can turn it on and off with our wall switch or the remote. One issue was the first time we tried to use it a message “OF” came on and it didn’t start. The instructions did not list this as an error code. We called the support number and Ben was very helpful and got back to us right away. The issue was simply solved by pressing and holding the power on the heater ( not remote) for first time use. I'm truly impressed with the build quality of this unit. It has an all-metal housing, both front grate and rear housing. The interior is very well built with heat wrap, plenty of access cutouts, wiring diagram and all needed hardware. This is an internal wall heater, meaning it is meant to be hardwired and installed in the sheetrock. The unit can be operated with heat or as a standalone fan. The front piece has dimples that insert upwards into the base unit and then it is secured by 2 allen head screws. The allen key is included. I would get this again. I like to fix things and tinker here and there taking random things apart. This heater with the exception of the control board, should be able to be repaired if needed. I only mention the control board because I'm not 100% certain if it is generic or specific to this model. The buttons are easy touch, no hard presses required. Once connected to power and turned on, it heats up quickly. This is perfect for a small shop or a bathroom. I would get this over and over again if I had a need for them. This heater seems to be extremely well made and thought out. Installation is as simple as it can be and everything is clearly marked and labeled. The remote is a wonderful feature, especially because it can be used as a switch so you don't need to get down to the control panel level to turn it on, and makes this heater even more valuable. I haven't had the opportunity to install it yet as it's going in the breezeway we're currently renovating, so I can't speak to noise or efficiency, but the numbers make sense and I look forward to getting its use. ... show more

In my area of the country, wall heaters this size are a popular way to heat. As such, I've used them quite a bit and can appreciate this one even more. This heater essentially brings all the conveniences of a portable electric heater into a hardwired wall version with a remote control. You can choose from three modes… Full power, Eco mode, or fan mode. It's quite nice to have a fan mode that will circulate air even in the summertime. The heat output is good and the noise level is pretty low for the amount of heat it puts out. It's good quality and very easy to use.
