    • Used for resin
As the add advertised I tired this with resin. BE CAREFUL! Do it in small amounts and keep it under the resin and don't go towards the top to avoid bubbles and such. The motor is not as strong as I would like it to be but for the price its fine. Once you get the resin and/or pigments mixed (I used it to mix my pigments with the resin to avoid any lumps of powder I may have missed) turn off the mixer and slowly pull it out, I just give it a small spin to get the excess off and to clean it but it in acetone (I use acetone nail polish remover and have it in a glass jar with a lid to avoid acetone fumes) and wipe it off with a paper towel and then let it air dry (it wont take long, like maybe a minute or so) and go on with something else. I may have to buy another one if it brakes because with how the price is its not bad for it. I showed to my resin group I'm in on Facebook and they had mixed feelings for it. ... show more

The blending power is amazing. It’s easy to use in thin or thick resin product. Also great value not too expensive and it’s worth every penny.

    • Not for longterm use, but works in a pinch I suppose.
For it being battery operated, it didn't do horrible in terms of blending power (at 1st anyway) unless you have a thinner epoxy you are working with, it will end up falling apart (like mine did 2 days ago.) For the 2 months I had it and for the 1 ½ months isn't was used (a few times a week) and considering it isn't made out of "hardy" materials... if you're in a pinch it will make due. Not good for resin Spinner nearly stops when it meets the resin didn't blend. Could be useful for stirring thin drinks though.

I bought it sister resin with because it’s so important that its mixed thoroughly, but it doesn’t even spin when it’s in the resin because it’s not powerful enough and It won’t even really stir paint. I guess if it was something completely watery or maybe like a chocolate milk It would work for that but that’s about it. ... show more

It broke the first time I used it. The spring came off more than half way and I had epoxy everywhere from my walls to my shirt. It also didn't do well mixing. It would stop.

    • Absolute garbage, don't waste your money
I use for mixing resin. I still end up having to mix by hand.. after 10 minutes of mixing with the mixer, the 2 oz of resin I was mixing still was not at the halfway mixed state. I tried it with 2 different kinds of resin . One was super runny and watery. Did not mix well at all. When I tried to mix the thick resin, the metal part with the mixer bit on it popped off/out of the handle part. Completely useless, 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND for craft /jewelry resin use.
