Bike works fine, but power doesn't work. Battery pack holds charge apparently, but looks a little scratched up. Not sure if that happened during shipping or not, or if whatever caused scratches caused it not to work with bike. Very displeased, ***AVOID THIS PRODUCT!!***

I purchased this e-trike as a mother's day gift. Since this product had no reviews to help me make a sound decision, I took a leap of faith. First, because it was the most affordable, even with the $39.99 delivery fee. Second, because it came in the recipient's favorite color. And, most importantly, out of all the similar looking brands, it had the shortest delivery wait time so it would arrive before mother's day. I was worried it wouldn't arrive on time, but was able to contact the seller through Amazon customer service to plead my case. The seller responded the next day guaranteeing delivery by mother's day. The e-trike arrived two days early. I'm not the most handy person when it comes to assembling anything that comes in parts, but the instructions were easy to follow. With the help of my husband, we put the trike together in less than a few hours. I took it for a test ride and to my surprise, the trike rides very well. I kept it at a leisurely speed, but it can get up there. That is how I discovered how well both hand-brakes worked. I don't know if the e-trike has shock absorption because you can definitely feel the bumps and cracks in the road, but overall, this was a great purchase. For all the stated reasons, I think this product deserves 5 stars.
