This is a great E bike I finally put her together. I love it wrote it outside my apartment, but I will not go anywhere until I put that green goo in the tires and I have to get my brother’s expertise on how to do that because the town I live in as a lot of bighorn stickers and they will flatten your tires thank you for fast shipping on this big huge item and it came well wrapped well packed. I can’t wait to start writing it everywhere anywhere when I get that goo in the tires. Thank you so much. I love everything about it the speed, the functionality and the pedal assist the durability and the fold ability. They are all great. Very nice trike. Color has an iridescent glow. We assembled in about 1 hour. Rides good. Seat was comfy, but had to order one with backrest. Just had to call manufacturers to adjust speedometer. Has to do with tire size. They called back quickly. Added mirrors, cup holder and made a liner for basket. I'm having fun.

The tldr; is that this is a good trike, as long as you know what you’re doing and don’t need a lot of help. The longer version: This is a good solid frame with a modest motor and feature-rich controller. However, you will want to install a good torque arm to the front wheel, or two for extra assurance. Torque arms are necessary for electric bikes and trikes to prevent disastrous axle spin-out, and this trike doesn’t come with one. It has an axle plate, but no arm to go with it so it has pretty minimal protection. I know this because I got axle spin-out. Admittedly, my kit only came with one axle plate and at the time I didn’t know the importance of torque arms, and rode anyway. Axle spin-out is when the axle comes loose and spins in the dropouts, dragging the motor cable with it and almost always destroying the motor in the process. That’s what happened to me, and since using bad axle plates was the company’s fault I got the motor replaced under warranty. It took some effort though, because it seems the company only has two people working in customer service, so it can be difficult to get hold of them. I had to play a lot of phone tag, and convince them that the motor was shot even though neither seemed to understand what axle spin-out is. At first they wanted to just replace the motor cable, though that never got to me since USPS seized the package for having counterfeit postage. If you get this trike, you need to also get at least one good quality torque arm. I recommend one from Grin Technologies, I use a V5 on the motor side and V6 on the brake side (the V5 won’t fit on the brake side). They’re a bit pricy, but when you consider that a new motor is at least $150 and axle spin-out can take out your controller too which is another $100 or more, it’s a lot cheaper to just get the torque arm. The first image I included shows the trike post spin-out, you can see the axle has rotated and the axle plate blew off the bolt holding it to the fork. Other photos show proper torque arms installed, preventing the axle from being able to spin. Consider getting a torque wrench to insure your axle nuts are on tight enough too. One star deducted for improper torque mitigation and general annoyance with customer service. Also the controller uses less common connectors which makes replacement more complicated: The controller requires a JST-SM connector for the halls, where most use a molex connector.

We bought this trike in favour of others because it looked relatively easier to construct, and was folding. It came tightly packed, folded in a box marked bicycle (probably just to annoy my pedantic father - it’s a tricycle). It came with everything you needed to construct the trike, and even a little pot of paint to touch up any future scuffs. There was only the front wheel assembly to construct, with the seat and handlebars slotting into place. The instructions were not completely clear, the pictures were too small, but the video on the Amazon listing helped a lot. If a 55 year old woman (me) can put it together in a few hours then so can you. The biggest issue I had in the construction was unfolding the trike in the first place, there was a reason for that, which I will get to, but there shouldn’t be any bother if you fully deflate the tyre of the appropriate back wheel. The issue we had with unfolding the trike became apparent when I tried to test drive it. The offending back wheel was all buckled. I hadn’t noticed because the back end of the trike is fully constructed and I paid no attention. It had obviously been dropped or crushed in transit. I have to say the customer service was second to none. They sent a new wheel and we had it fixed and checked over at a local bike repair shop, we were refunded the cost of this. In addition, the guys at the bike shop who repaired the trike, were extremely impressed by its quality. The delay this caused was a little frustrating but I am now confident that these guys will look after us with spares and repairs in the future. 10/10

This little bike come very nearly packed. Once getting all the packing material picked up and out of way, time to read directions and get to work. It come with the tools you need to assemble which is great. It also comes with a small bottle of touch up paint for scratches, that is also great. Total assembly took about and hour, from reading directions to finish assemble. I read some folks thought the directions were not clear enough. I would suggest to make the direction book larger, other than that no issues with directions. My wife absolutely loves this little bike, she is 5ft 3 and easily for her to get on off. The look of the bike is sleek and the ride is smooth and nice.
