Why are there two batteries? The dual-battery system provides the power needed by the 40V-class machine and gives you an additional charged battery set. How long does the battery last? Battery runtime varies with snow conditions and use. In our real-world test, the snow shovel ran for 20 minutes in 14°F weather while clearing 3–6 inches of snow. Why does the snow shovel stop during use? The overload protection may stop the motor if snow is too deep, heavy, or packed. Simply move to a different angle and restart. For heavy or deep snow, use slower, shallower passes.
