The WINDHORSE Peak 680W Electric Scooter with Seat, is exactly what my granddaughter needed to get back & forth, to & from work!!! It is everything it is advertised to be, and our granddaughter gets loads of compliments on just how cute her yellow Windhorse Electric Scooter with Seat, is. Sometimes it's dark when she makes the 1 1/2 mile drive home. Streetlights illuminate her route, and the Scooter's headlight is very bright, so she's easily spotted as she heads down the street. We added reflector strips along the scooter's sides, front and rear, just to be safe, since we knew that she'd be riding home at night, I don't know that we actually needed to do that. It just gave us "peace of mind". The rear reflector which is already on the bike's basket, is very effective. We've only had the scooter for a short time, but I can tell you that it's made a huge difference in our lives. We will still provide transportation for her when it rains, (which is fairly uncommon in our Southwest desert area), but the Windhorse has finally given our 22-year-old granddaughter convenience and independence, and she LOVES IT!!! Best of all, in our state and area, she does not need a driver's license, vehicle insurance or vehicle license to use her scooter for street-use!!! AWESOME!!! So far I love my scooter! It came almost fully charged, shipping was fast. The scooter rides nice, the light is bright and its overall just as described. WOW! I used this for a 3 day event and it did not disappoint! Holds a great charge, has enough power to go up an incline/ramp without slowing down, not heavy - was able to put it in the back of my truck without hassle and the folding handle bar is a great idea! Nice scooter, issue being the keys enter change so all the keys work for all the scooters, and to me that's not cool, cause I bought 3 of these for different people. Also I've only had mine a few months along with my 14 year olds and the batteries have already started to not wanna take a charge.

I’m less happy than I thought I would be. Windhorse sent this out via FedEx and charged $100.00 for shipping, FedEx then lost the package did not update any of the shipping and when the product did arrive it was damaged. The throttle came broken, the tires, flat, and the information provided on the Amazon information differs from what the wind horse can actually manage. The advertisement says up to 300 pounds. The informational packet inside says 265. It should be noted that purchasing this item from wind horse’s website directly would be free shipping but a $50 additional cost on the scooter itself but overall saving you $50. My partner is the one that this was for, it is small enough to fit in the car and that much is nice. The compact design allows it to be something we can fit alongside my wheelchair when we go places. The comfort is fine the battery life does not last quite as long as advertised and the speed is impossible to measure as it does not come with a speedometer. After communicating with windhorse regarding the color not being the same blue pictured the throttle the issues with shipping etc windhorse argued over shipping stating that the item arrived within the time frame. They offered to replace the throttle despite their offer it was never shipped out resulting in an additional star lost, they shipped out a defective product offered a repair and then never bothered to send the repair pieces out. ... show more

The box that my scooter came in was obviously run through with a forklift. I could tell, through the hole in the box, that the scooter was very scratched up. I reported this to Amazon, who in turn notified the seller that I wanted to exchange it for one that wasn't scratched. I waited over a week and got no response from the seller. Today, I unboxed it, put it together and tried riding it. Everything was ok, except for the huge scratch. I decided to keep it since everything worked. I didn't want to deal with the runaround any longer. I bought 2 of these, and except for the damage they are great. I really love them. Pull that throttle back and it has plenty of get up and go. Can't wait for me and my wife to take them camping. ... show more
