When I 1st got it, it was very torque. My suggestion is to use it in 1 st gear. Tell u to get ues to it. All so if ur going to go fast on it befor u get it there is a option to get a streing damper and safety gear is a must I found out the hard way when I hit the break I flip over the handle bars an got bruised ribs an sprained wrist I had glove on but no helmet wich is my fault for hit the break to hard. I all so broke the big screen on the scooter but still drive it home.it has torque to go up any hill as for the range of the scooter it very good I won't 23.86 miles on 1 chage an still had 3 bars on the battery that with sending to full speed all the time that all so with all the hill we have around here as for the repair the big screen it good to now they sell spar parts in cast ur crash it like I did it was easy to install as well I will be updating the reviews more as I get more time on it . ... show more

The scooter is huge i wanted a scooter so when im otr i dont need to get a uber and im sometimes in states that dont offer uber or lyft. It is to big and heavy to lift. I dont like that all the lights come on you cant just turn on head lights. Head light fell off one day while i was riding cant get a hold of anyone for warranty or replacement. Must keep instruction manual cause specific order of steps to lift and lower handle bars. Extra unnecessary gadgets on the handles. Now the speed is in kph not mph so scooter really goes about 30 mph i weight 180lbd 5'2". So it feels as if im riding pretty fast. i tested it out cause after i became local driver my gf was going to drive it to work which is about 5 miles away. Took same amount of time it would in the car. When you ride at max speed then hit the brakes the wheel wobbles really bad i have checked plenty of times to ensure everything is tight. And it is. I crashed riding it one day and the metal on the back tire is flimsy its for looks. Not functional. So i havent been able to bend it back. It sit on the tire a little when i rode to gf job the battery was half charged by the time i got back it was dead that was me riding at full speed entire way (15 minutes) so on distance id say you get about 20-30 miles riding full speed not 75 miles which is one of the reasons i wanted this particular scooter. Now i just ride when i feel like it or when i need to make a quick run to the grocery store grab a few things. Its a head turner for sure. They would accept the return cause i initially wanted to return it but return shipping at my cost was $400. althought i could have sworn i looked for one with free return shipping just in case i did not like it. So over all not worth 1900 . You would also make sure you get one with a seat yeah standing up is fine but it seems it would be much easier to ride with a seat ... show more

    • Hyper Scooter with all the qualities, but a lesser price tag than other brands in it's class.
I like the D5 and find it very powerful and fast although it is also heavy. I added a seat from Masxodrk which changes the ride completely. When seated, the scooter rides pretty much like a small motorcycle and gives a greater sense of stability especially at top speeds. I also added side view mirrors so I can monitor activity behind me which is much safer especially at night. I must also note that Masxodrk has provided me with complete customer service and support. They are always there to assist me with any problems and questions I have regarding the D5 which is a great value added to my purchase. I feel they have gone above and beyond what one would probably expect from any other vendor(s). Thanks MASXODRK! ... show more

When your ridding at top speed the front wheel start to wobble and that's not a good thing AT ALL! I almost ate it. Is there something that can be done about this malfunction? Has anyone else experienced this? if you did what was your solution? Please Advise. If there is no solution I will need to return it for a defective front wheel or alignment? it does not allow me to enjoy the full use of my purchase. $$$ ... show more

You can forget getting any questions answered. I highly recommend NOT buying from this seller. For anything. As far as the scooter, the first trip with it was a long one and appeared to be getting awesome battery life. Till I flipped the lights on for a few minutes and then it all disappeared. I had to push it home the last block after putting 28 miles on it. In the lowest gear all day to conserve battery life. ... show more
