I got this electric scooter for my 17 year old son to use around the University of Florida and it has been absolutely perfect for him. T campus is huge and walking everywhere just wasn’t realistic but this scooter makes it a breeze to get from class to class without breaking a sweat. He loves that the tire has a stripe of orange because UF colors are orange and blue. It also makes it easier to identify when there’s a ton of scooters parked together. It’s fast enough to be fun with a top speed around 19 miles per hour for him (he’s super tall and over 200 pounds) and the battery lasts a really long time. He can go a full day cruising around without needing to recharge. He’s gone as far as two days without a recharge but hasn’t pushed it to three yet. It also recharges FAST! It’s super lightweight which makes it easy to carry and store. He is able to bring it into the classroom on rainy days when he doesn’t want to leave it outside on the bike rack. He loves the app features especially being able to lock it and check the battery life on his phone. The phone holder is solid and keeps his device steady while he rides. Setup was easy and everything feels safe and well built. The dual braking system gives me peace of mind as a parent and the customer service seems really responsive too. The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?: We have an electric scooter at home without a seat, so when I found out there’s one with a seat, I know it was for me! My husband took about 30 mins to setup everything. There were 4 extra screws that we didn’t know what to do with, but realized it could be to mount the seat stalk plate to the scooter base (see picture), so we put 2 on each side. Operation was easy. You just press the power button and go. Comes fully charged. To slow down, you just press on the handle brakes. Folding down takes a bit of an effort with the seat on because you have to unlatch and unwind the seat stalk to fold down. It folds down compactly and nicely though. ... show more
