As a mom, safety was my #1 concern when buying an electric scooter for my 14-year-old son to commute to school, and after using the Electric Folding E-Scooter with seat option, I can confidently say this was a great purchase and it had a great price. My son says it easy to change the speed, acceleration is smooth, not jerky, which made me feel more comfortable letting him ride it. He loves the use of the app and how helpful it is. He can check battery life and settings, which is a nice bonus as a parent. The ride is smooth and stable, and the 8.5"/10" tires handle bumps well. We added the seat option, which is perfect for longer rides and helps him stay balanced and comfortable. The dual braking system works very well and feels responsive. He can stop quickly and safely, which gave me peace of mind. The scooter feels solid and well-built—not cheap or flimsy. Pros- Great for teens to adults. Versatile. The media could not be loaded. I am truly impressed and satisfied with this product. Assembly was very simple if you just follow the directions. Price was very reasonable for a product of this quality. At first I was rather nervous when riding but after a few trips in my neighborhood I became much more comfortable. It’s a very smooth ride and it’s really cute as well. I use it with the seat attached and I have had no issues of it being unstable. It’s rather lightweight and folds up neatly to fit inside a trunk or even a backseat. There have been a few issues such as the charger not working properly and the battery not holding a charge as it should, however, product support has been very helpful and willing to resolve the issues. 10/10 totally recommend!!! Needed the battery replaced and contacted the company. They were more than happy to help. ... show more

Perfect!! We got this for my daughter for Christmas! There are presets that can minimize the max speed and it has cruise control! My daughter is 9 years old, 4 foot 7 inches and 90 pounds. My father was able to ride it easy and he is 6 foot and 260 pounds. We almost didn’t buy it because of how fast it goes but we can set the max speed to 8 or 16 which is really nice and gave us peace of mind. There isn’t any noise except for the very loud bell! I would say depending on the child’s maturity, ages 8+ this would be perfect. My 50 year old dad had just as much fun as my daughter. It is easy to charge and easy to set up!
