Over the years I have bought a few different brands because I take them in my motorhome to use for transportation at the campground. So with that being said, I've experienced quite a few scooters. Let's talk about this atomi scooter. It is awesome!!! It came very well packaged and was delivered on time. Assembly was very easy, you need to install a total of 6 screws with the provided wrench. What I like about this scooter is it has a little bit wider set of handlebars which make it much more comfortable to ride. Battery life is great and it has 3 settings for speed. I'm 6'1" and 225lbs and the deck you stand on is also a little wider than some of my other scooters, giving me ample room for my feet. Comes with a nice bright headlight and a tail light that also acts as a brake light. The motor has loads of power to go uphill and even in the grass. Portability is awesome, the handlebars fold down and is very easy to transport. It comes with an ample warranty if you were to experience any problems.The biggest problem with this scooter is, my wife, daughter, and me are fighting over it because it's the nicest one we have! ... show more

this scooter hits all the necessary marks that I was looking for while still remaining within my budget. firstly, its build is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. it has a decently wide deck, a good weight, and wide handlebars, which all lend to an overall reliable and sturdy feeling while riding. I had enough space to attach my phone holder to it, which is a definite plus. at the same time, I find it to be quite sleek. i'm also very grateful for the bright headlight and brake lights, which help me feel safe when it's getting dark out. I use this scooter for a 2.5 mile commute to work through a mostly residential area that is moderately hilly—it handles the job well, going about 12 miles uphill and maxing out to about 16 downhill (my weight is 130 lbs for reference). it makes my commute quite fun so I often use it for recreation too. I will typically take my scooter while family members take their bike for short-to-moderately distanced joy rides. lastly, the battery life is good for my needs and I find that it charges back up fairly quickly after a day/afternoon of use (one note: the charger makes a loud screeching sound when its done charging so you can't really charge it overnight without causing a disturbance). overall, I recommend this for e-scooter beginners and short distance commuters, as well as anyone looking for a recreational activity for their teens or themselves. ... show more

I’m mainly using this scooter to go school and around some places near my place (within 20 min by scooter). I charge it every two days and its fairly enough. Its speedy enough and its weight is okay to carry (i would not say its light but tolerable to carry and go up some stairs). Also customer service is great. I bought this scooter because it would get me to and from downtown Austin which is an 8-mile roundtrip scoot for me and it works out quite well. I haven't pushed the limit with the battery power yet but it does go down faster than I had presumed it would. After roughly 3-4 miles, it's already on half-power if you're traveling at full speed the entire time so I usually charge it up in-between commutes. I've had the scooter about 2 weeks now and I can definitively say it's a good purchase. Sturdy wheels, easy to carry, fast enough to ride in the bike lanes, seems pretty safe while riding, the back breaklight and front headlight are awesome for traveling at night, and it's been fun to ride the scooter beside my son on his scooter since this one has 3 different power modes (green/white/red) for different max speeds. 0. I bought "Atomi Scooter AE10 E30" for $260. 1. Packed well. Delivered without any defects. 2. Everything is assembled correctly, the brakes are adjusted. 3. Real maximum speed 16Mph (limited with controller). 4. The actual range at a good speed is 6-8 miles, then the speed decreases as the battery discharges. Maximum range in real conditions is 10-16 miles. Don't forget, weels need pressure 30-36PSI. 5. The wheel motor can have a rated power of 250-350W. Peak power is about 500-600W. 6. The battery capacity is approximately 270Wh as described. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours. 7. It seems that the protection against dust and moisture corresponds to the declared IP54. 8. The smartphone app works correctly but provides very little information. I can rate the app 3 points out of 5. ... show more
