This chair was excellent we put it put together. And when we started to put the patient in we needed a clearance of 4-5 inches under the chair to make it work. And the patient was only 5'1 he was too short to get in the chair. We couldn't make it work. The assembly of the chair was really easy to put together. It was worth the money the comfort and the durability and quality was the best.

The idea of this chair is great, and when it works, it truly helps. My father is fully disabled and needs to be lifted and transferred, so this product could have been life-changing. Unfortunately, we had serious safety issues twice. The first chair completely lost power while my dad was already in it. The remote control stopped working, and the up-and-down function failed. I had to physically support and hold him myself to get him back into a safe position, which was extremely dangerous. Amazon sent a replacement, but the exact same issue happened again. The lift stopped working, the device locked, and the chair would not move up or down. We ended up needing three people to manually move my father back into a regular chair. This happened with both units. Because this product is meant for disabled and vulnerable users, these failures are very concerning. If the power runs out or the motor fails while someone is in the chair, there is no safe backup option. After a few uses, the device stopped working completely. I normally don’t leave reviews, but this is a serious safety concern. The concept is good, but there appears to be a factory or design issue that makes this product unreliable and unsafe for real-world use.

I used it, and somehow we were able to manage to move over carpet. We just wish in future to upgrade the design to more narrow doors of bathroom and spaces it will be great help. Recommend it.

Very useful and sturdy. A step up from a previous model. The only thing I would change is the hard board in the pad that has no hole in the seat area for washing. Maybe if there was a way to remove the board , then it would be better for me, maybe not others. I find it a bit unstable when transferring to a glide in shower chair. The older version pad without the board conforms to the shower chair more and doesn't slip around. However, well worth the price I believe.
