It's parts were carefully packed in styrofoam with the English owner's manual right on top; no scratches. The wheeled base and tiller come pre-assembled. Really, the only thing to do is assemble the seat post and armrests on the chair. After an overnight charge it was ready to go. The seat spins right around and clamps to the post every 45°. It is much more stable than it looks. A large knob allows the tiller to swing right out of the way and clamp down again easily. The controls are super easy to use. Also, the tiller has a grab bar, not a simple handle. It is steered and controlled by either hand, or both. It loads easily into the trunk of my car in several ways. The wheeled base is the heaviest part. It has a suitcase handle at one end and casters at the other. It is brilliantly designed for being driven and transported. There is a problem. The ride is very harsh. My wife at first found the seat too hard, but a little pillow helped support her lumbar. She was able to drive it four miles in D.C. from the hotel to the Vietnam memorial and back; but she felt every curb cut and paver bump. Also, there should be something to support the heels. Maybe pads that fold down in front of the wheel housings; like on a wheelchair. ... show more

We got this for my dad who is 91 and in assisted living - he has a LONG walk to the dining room, so we thought this would be ideal. And it is. The quality is apparent, especially if compared side-by-side to other scooters. It's easy to use and doesn't take much practice at all! I bought this for my dad after he started falling fairly frequently due to muscle loss and weakness. It has been a lifesaver for him. He's able to get the mail, go shopping, and enjoy his home and yard again. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The flagstick arrived broken, but he had no intention of using it anyway, so we didn't even mention it to the seller. Other than that tiny thing, it is perfect for him. He's six feet tall, and it accommodates his legs without forcing his knees to his chest. That was the main thing I was worried about, but it's adjustable for tall people. I have only charged it once since I bought it in July, and it's still going strong. The battery life is amazing. I was also impressed by its resistance to tipping over. His yard is so hard, bumpy, and uneven that everyone walks across it with their arms out for balance. Nevertheless, the mobility scooter gets him safely across. His grandson went on a joyride through his rugged backyard and took a sharp turn at top speed without turning over. It seems pretty safe and reliable. He's happy with it. ... show more

I initially was going to return the scooter because the person I purchased it for didn’t want to use it because of the stigma of having to use a mobility device. She has since changed her mind and absolutely loves this little scooter. The scooter was very easy to assemble, just pop in the seat, attach front basket, and drop in the battery pack and you are ready to go. Make sure and do a full charge before using. Charging is easy with two different ports for connecting the charger; one on the battery pack, and one on the scooter wind screen. The front light and rear brake are great for safety in low light conditions. It has a horn, fully adjustable steering yoke, rear shock absorbers and no flat tires. The seat is very comfortable and adjustable. The scooter really handles well and the adjustable speed control is great for using indoors. Lastly, I’m 72 years old and have less than average strength, but I can still lift this scooter into the back of my car as long as I remove the seat, battery, and lower the steering yoke. All are very easy to do. I highly recommend this mobility scooter for its quality, comfort, and features. Excellent device! ... show more

It was so easy to assemble, purchased this for my Dad who is 86 and tires easily. He got right on it and took his first ride. It is a little heavy so I’m thinking of getting a scooter trailer for the back of the car .

This company worked hard to live up to the promises. The box was in bad shape of the scooter from NJ but the scooter was just fine, It was packed extremely well. The process of putting it together was very simple after everything was removed from the box it took less than 5 minutes to assemble everything. No tools were required. It separates into 4 easily handled pieces with the base unit (wheels, motors, deck, and tiller) the seat, the seat post, and the basket. The base unit is heaviest but has two good places to grab a hold of to lift. It weighs around 50 pounds. The battery is probably around 25 or so and has a top mounted handle and is easily carried. The seat weighs maybe 15 or 20 pounds and the basket is the lightest around 5 pounds. It took about 6 hours to bring the battery to full charge from the indicator light on the charger but I left it on all night as per the instructions. The instructions and owners manual are well written with only a few grammer mistakes but is completely understandable. I have tried to contact the company on the return of the second scooter when it arrives but they have not returned my calls yet. ... show more
