Recently, I've undergone a couple of surgeries that left me in need of a mobility device. I did my research and found that Metro Mobility M1 Lite fit the bill perfectly. It was a great value and it included all of what I wanted in a mobility scooter. BARIHO Service Team delivered the scooter early via FedEx ( for my area) and assembly took 15 minutes! These are the features I really liked: 1. Heavy duty, yet light weight. 2. Included 8" wheels, wheras many scooters that I compared that were hundreds of dollars more had 7" or even 6" wheels. 3. Very easy to manauever. 4. Simple and concise control panel 5. 9-10 mile range threshold (I bought the M1 LITE, but you can, for not much more, order the M1 that gives you larger battery and extended range 16 miles). For me max distance is only 3 miles or less roundtrip and the battery is small enough and lightweight enough to easily remove to charge. You don't have to, you can charge onboard, of course. 6. Fast battery recharge, not even overnight. 7. I won't dissemble it, but it folds and breaks down into 3 pieces, so you can if you wanted to transport it. 8. The M1 Lite doesn't include headlight or taillights, but the M1 does. I don't plan on any nighttime excursions, so not including them, and keeping the cost down kept me interested to buy. I could go on and on, but bottom line is I am extremely happy with the purchase and used it Every day since I received it.

This unit has come in so handy for me and my husband. It has a high weight bearing load. It is easy to break down and haul in the cargo area of my RAV4. It's very heavy, so we had to figure out an ergonomic way to lift and turn it to get it in the car. Once we figured this out, I can put it in and get it out by myself, so it can be done. We do not use the scooter routinely, but we have monitored the charge while it is sitting and it holds that charge well. I am a large woman(290lbs, 5'3") with very short legs. I find that if I try to put my feet on the deck where my feet are supposed to go, my knees have to be bent at a very sharp angle. This is very uncomfortable and painful if you have bad knees(which is why I bought it in the first place). I have to set my feet forward on the "wheel well" of the front wheels to relieve my knees. This kind of leaves me where I feel like I am unstable and can slide around on the seat a little bit. The front basket is great for a small to medium sized purse. The rear basket is roomy and sturdy, although I have not used it on the scooter. All that being said, I gave the scooter 5 stars because it is a great unit. All of the size specs were included in the item description, so it's my own fault that I chose one with a short deck area. So, just bear that in mind if you are looking to purchase this scooter.

The scooter arrived quickly and it was very easy to assemble. I plugged it in and let it charge overnight, it was ready to go in the morning. The scooter is very easy to control and the seat is comfortable. I was able to go along with my grandkids on their daily walk. The scooter easily went through my gravel driveway and lawn. I like how easy it is to control the speed. The basket on the front is nice to bring along items that we need. I can't wait to join my grandkids on other adventures with my scooter. I will soon take it to the grocery store, it is very portable. I like that I do not have to wait for an available scooter at the grocery store anymore. The scooter is easy to charge and when fully charged it lasts a long time. I would definitely recommend this scooter!

Glad we chose this scooter. It came in earlier than what it was supposed to. Easy assembly and easy to breakdown/setup when transported to our vehicle. This thing moves and is very sturdy! I have a gravel driveway 300' long, and this scooter goes out to the road and through the yard with no problem. I was surprised at how fast it actually can go. Seat is comfortable and controls are easy to access. The charge on the batteries lasts a long time, and easy to hook up the charger. The only drawback is that it doesn't fold up to transport or store, but it is simple and quick to breakdown and put in a vehicle. Very happy with this purchase.

It works great. Battery has good life. Speedy little scooter! Very nice. My Mother could buzz all around the community where she lived. Gets in and out of elevators easily. Charge lasts a long time. It gave her much more independence. It's also quite lightweight to carry. Remove the battery and it's easy to pick up and put in the van.

Your product Metro Mobility M1 has many great features but only two that are most important to us. First is the pivoting seat (gear type connection) to the tube the seat rocked side to side almost 1" making my wife unsteady on stops & stops. The other issue is her leg room, not enough, even when the seat is externed to its max height (which reduces the center of gravity) and she had to raise her legs to the top of the wheel well which was extremely painful & difficult for her. I should say why we got the M1. my wife Judy is in need of a Left Hip replacement and both knees have issues. So, let's what's the good features are, the auto breaking the Best! The speed excellent (Judy weighs 300 lbs.) and the wheely bars are Great! the lighting - head-tail-instruments Great! and the Adjustable steering good idea (hoping plastic lasts) We are hoping that you would have a model for us. The scooter arrived on time . All materials for the scooter were there, nothing was missing. Purchased this scooter mainly for travel. It's easy to operate, its comfortable, the color is nice and it's quiet. Great scooter for the price paid, especially when others are charging $1200 for the same scooter.
