I actually bought this to keep water warm for my business & it works amazing for that! Great size too. But I have since found many other uses for it around the house because of the wide range of temperature settings. It can even be a candle warmer or just an extra burner when cooking a holiday meal. I’m quite sure we will also take it camping with us! I highly recommend this & I will promote it on my platforms

I'm quite happy with this electric burner! The only issue I had to overcome is that when I put it on the counter with the cord aimed to the wall, it didn't lay flat. It's a good, heavy duty cord that comes out of the back aimed straight down instead of outward, so the right rear of the burner was higher than the other corners. Seems like the feet should be taller to accommodate the cord so you don't have to smash it or twist it, or the cord should be aimed differently. I have a small wooden cutting board that's 3/4" high; I use that as its platform so the whole burner is elevated, giving the cord the space it needs. I bought this when I was considering replacing my gas stove with an induction stove. Some of my cookware is induction-ready, but I didn't want to have to replace so much all at once. So I had planned to use this for the pans that won't work on induction, and I'm content now that it would do the jobs I would have needed it to do. Out of curiosity I did once try to boil a large pot of water for potatoes because I've read posts on a variety of plug-in burners by people who have issues with that. After a half hour there was steam and little bubbles at the bottom, and then it occurred to me that I'm using a 120 volt appliance to do a job meant for a 240 volt appliance. The cost of the wiring needed for an electric stove is the main reason I'm sticking with gas. I moved the pot to a gas burner, and it was boiling within 2 minutes. My big pot is one of the induction-ready ones, so I wouldn't have needed to use this burner for that anyway. P.S. The instructions advise that operation "not exceed one hour for each use". I don't have an issue with that because that's not the kind of cooking I want to do on it.

Very very well made. Works great and does what its suppose to do. I love it. It cooks better than my stove that's old with old burners. I live in an apartment and they won't upgrade the appliances. So I bought the glass top and the cast iron one. Now I have two amazing extra full size burners. My old stove has only one large burner and three small ones. I find myself only cooking on these beautiful babies these days. Get yourself one or two, I promise you will be glad you did.

I bought one near the end of August 2023, and it worked great. Then after only four months it completely stopped working. I bought another one, and it just died on me after about a month and a half. Right out of the box they performed great and I really liked them, but obviously they are not built to last. I’d never buy one from them again.

This Hot Plate is more than a device just to keep your dish warm. One can certainly cook with this hot plate. The infrared burner heats up quickly. I am pleased with it.
